That's ironic. Normally, I find I have to switch from Firefox to IE when things don't work for me!

This does seem to be a big help. Amazing the website doesn't work on the most popular browser!

D@mn!!! I cannot understand why UA cannot run a decent website. I'm trying to spend my money with them and the dang site has not been fully functional for af few hours now.

I need to book some flights, and this unstable piece of garbage is driving me mad. I'm in a foreign country, and I'm not interested in making a call back to the states. Plus, I don't want to talk to anyone, I want to book it online and be done.

Mileage award Booking

Why cant you do a one way trip when you are redeeming miles? One the page, you can do the "round trip" on the same day... but no one way.

United doesn't offer one way awards so this isn't really a website issue

UA does offer one-way awards. It's just that they cost same as RT awards.

So, in terms of the web site, you book the outbound flight you want, then book an arbitrary return flight ... fully expecting to never use it.

Same here - unfortunately, as you know, it's all too believable!
