Yo-Yo Ma
A few years ago, before I checked in for my HKG-ORD flight, I was talking to one of the CSRs in HKG and Yo-Yo Ma walked up next to me and started talking to the other CSR at the desk. I wasn't paying any attention to "the guy next to me", I was more interested in the load up front, so my CSR says "Do you know who that is". Before I could even look over at him, she tells me his name. She was clearly enamored with him. I said "Hi" and so did my CSR and another CSR that walked over. He was very pleasant and friendly. He was carrying his cello in a case on his back. I wonder if he has a place in HKG or if he was just visiting? Everyone at the 1K/GS desk new who he was.
Well he doesn't have a toupee, but I think I'd enjoy his conversation more than Sam Donaldson's.

Seen quite a few over past few years...
I know this is a long thread, but have seen a few over the years:
It's been interesting. Most people stay calm and leave the celebs alone. A couple folks wanted Chuck Yeager's autograph and he's wasn't very happy about that. Was sitting next to me grumbling about it, but otherwise not much excitement.
- Danny Glover checking in in front of me at SFO
- Sean Penn & wife & 2 kids SFO-Honolulu last year
- Sat next to Crispin Glover (George McFly in Back to the Future) IAD-Brussels last year and had a nice chat
- Chuck Yeager several times out of Sacramento (he lives nearby)
- Jane Seymour LHR-LAX in March of this year
- Tony Robbins a couple years ago Honolulu-SFO
- Lee Trevino (golfer) ORD-Grand Rapids MI
- Shaq checking in in front of me at LAX a few years ago
- Various Congressional members flying in/out of IAD
- Andy Williams at the bar in RCC in Denver a couples years ago
- Michael Boatman (Carter on Spin City) New York-SFO
- Various actors and crew of LOST on flights LAX-Honolulu over the past two years
- Sheriff John Burnell (from early COPS and various car chase shows) flying into DC
- Pierce Brosnan in RCC in LAX a year ago

Jennifer Hudson, the former American Idol contestant and Academy Award winner for "Dreamgirls," was on my flight LGA-ORD in F last wednesday. I was in 4C in coach but alas, it was an ex-sh*ttle plane, so I wasn't missing much.

Eva Mendes was in 1A on UA336 today from LAX-DEN.
Had I kept my original seat assignment, I would have been sitting right next to her. My traveling companion's seat assignment mysteriously vanished shortly before boarding (presumably for Eva,) so we moved to a different row.

If anyone wants to heckle the (alleged) Murderin' Juiceman, he'll be arriving DEN in a few hours on 1462!
(Apparently he had just pled 'Not Guilty' in Vegas to his (alleged) rampage in Vegas, and was escorted to the plane by 4 deputies).

And I don't think it's a good idea to be sitting IN FRONT OF Mr. Simpson either. He's in the exit row, and behind them is E-...THERE'S a question for FTers regarding E+/E-...Is it better to be in E+ directly ahead of an (alleged ) murderer, or in middle seats in E-?

I wonder if OJ is 1K, he seems loyal to United. If I recall he flew them the night of the murders in 94 (LAX-ORD)
