I would think these 4 birds have more than a few years left since they are 6 years younger than 77M, maybe potentially replace the 3 originally XC 23xx first ? Since those are really only have a few years left before they reach 30 years old.

It feels like they are using this "opportunity" to knock out all the 772 conversions at an accelerated pace.

Let’s see where that one goes after GUM.

The domestic mods are currently in HKG. But the mod ferries from GUM have usually been ferry one in, and immediately ferry one out a couple of hours later. And I can’t see a modded (Polaris) aircraft at HKG ready to come out.

Maybe a swap with a maint? Or is it going to XMN where one of the IPTE ships has been in Polaris mod for a couple of months?

EDIT - No. After GUM it's heading GUM-HNL-SFO.

There's more involved as a 772A that needs maint in SFO and N219UA is subbing. Hopefully N219UA will stay in the pacific and head to HKG early for C Check or mod work

Interesting about N219UA, it's doing two RT ferries.
6Mar - 2698 GUM-XMN (en route), then 2699 XMN-GUM
7Mar - 2701 GUM-XMN, then 2688 XMN-GUM

The 7 Mar RT looks to be to ferry crew for N797UA to exit with Polaris/P+.

(And FYI - N221UA is in HKG, on the fleet website it's showing as XMN.)
