Aer Lingus flights for 5 pax were showing on all kinds of dates on UA last week, but now they are not. I've confirmed availability on Qantas and Avios. Is something up with the website? Or have they changed to only give UA <5x and give Qantas >5x?

UA is have award availabity problems with certain (not not all partners) at the moment All UA award space for TP, TG & SQ gone??, no recent reported issues with EI
Aer Lingus (EI) award booking experiences [Consolidated]

Not sure there is a correlation of EI award availability on UA with those other carriers

Quick question: Does transferring points from a hotel program (in my case Marriott) to my United profile count as an activity that will reset my MileagePlus Expiry Date?

(i.e. will transferring points from Marriott to United push the expiry date on my United Miles back another 18 months?)

I’ve checked the Master Wiki, searched this thread and searched the Forum looking for an answer to a question that I know has been answered somewhere on the Forum. I haven’t had any luck in finding it.

On the old UA website, when you wanted to share your itinerary, you were able to choose the format that you wanted to send, I.e., showing the itinerary without ticket pricing. Today, when I went to my itinerary, I couldn’t see any link, etc. for any form of sharing (emailing) it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

My wife and I are coming back from Rome (FCO-EWR) in mid-March on UA41. Since we booked that flight, it has shown as a 767-400 with the 2-1-2 layout in business class. I have no expectations that it will be the new Polaris hard product since all data I can find on this site and others seems to indicate the 764 will be very, very late in the transformation game.

However, I've noticed that all of the recent flights on this route have been 763 and one of them was actually one of the upgraded Polaris configurations. And the 02FEB flight per the UA site is also a updated 763.

So, what is the likelihood that the route will stay 763 through March and therefore potentially get me a chance to try to new Polaris hard product?

No one here can offer a meaningful answer to that question. It's all up to UA Ops. You might as well just spin the roulette wheel.

I get that - but I should have been more clear in my question. Namely, is there a "spring" schedule change that occurs each year, for example. And following that example, UA has historically added / changed capacity on long-haul flights and thus I should never try to compare March schedules to Jan schedule.

I don't know if any of my example is true, but that was the underlying question in my original question.

If you are within 90 days of departure and the assigned equipment is a 764, I would not expect Polaris seats. Yes, gauge varies seasonally so running a 763 in Jan is in no way indicative of them downgauging a March flight.

You asked about the likelihood of a swap for a Polaris aircraft, and it seems that's what you really want to know. So I would stick with my original answer.

Not a MP inquiry per se but I need some help and hope this thread will come up with the answer.. I know somewhere is a listing that shows UA equipment and which routes are served by them. I have seen it and I forgot where. Specifically I am trying to find a TATL route that's served by any 767 variation so that I can catch a two seat row and sit together with Mrs. Ex. I know AMS is one, just looking for alternatives. Thanks.

You are probably thinking about https://unitedcargo.com/ and Widebody Schedule Feb 2019 , but as the link title suggests, it is only for the upcoming month.

If you are looking further, there may be aircraft type changes for some routes and you will need to check the actual UA schedule / timetable for the specific route.

This is a great site for the question I had -- it won't tell me if it is a Polaris aircraft, but once published for March, should tell me if FCO-EWR is a 764 and has 0% chance of Polaris or if it will be a 763 and have a >0% chance.

Hm, if you click "View" of the specific itinerary from your Manage Reservations page, and click the e-mail icon on the right hand side--next to the printer and calendar icons--that will give you the option to share your itinerary to specific email addresses (w/o pricing).
