That gives them a week to remove and dispose of what I estimated to be 77sq miles of shrink wrap surrounding that gargantuan space.
I truly hope that new space rocks, as EWR is pretty dismal in most respects

Coincidentally I am traveling out of EWR on a 9:55pm flight on 5/12 and will be attending the event, so I will be certain to report back... looking forward to this long-overdue addition!

Given they’re supposed to be doing some kind of mega-A club at some point, I’d also be a little surprise if they’re also planning a significant project at C74.

C-1 club will be fully renovated. Given my druthers, I’d rather see it happen after the summer rush, but it’s about a decade overdue, IMV, so I’ll deal with whatever it is.
A large new club in A is also in the works. When the dust settles, there will be 3 United Clubs at EWR, plus Polaris, and the C-1 club will be the smallest by square footage.

So EWR club will continue to be epically overcrowded, you'll just be shoulder to shoulder in a nicer space for, oh, three more years or so.

Just glad it'll be open by the 1st week in June when I'm taking the family to Maui. That'll be nice.
