C124 peek-a-boo
Decided to try to see if I could get any glimpses of the C124 club and found that they have opened up a concourse that appears to go under the new club (so now you don't hit that crowded, hellish dead end that used to exist by the C125-127 gates.). When I got to what is presumably the main entrance/escalator area, there was some of the paper shielding falling off on the second level so you can see in but not really anything of note. Could be easier to see if you are Intl arrival and on that same second level. There was a group of UA trainees being shown around and they did stop here but I couldn't hear what they were being told (presumably "this will be our new UC, largest ever").

TLV secondary has been moved to the end of C3 now. As of yesterday at least, when you get to C123 gate area, you can make a choice to go right or left.

UC members in EWR and DEN received an email today teasing some images of the new clubs. Two from EWR:

Confirms shower suites, self-scan check in and a coffee bar.

Shower suites at EWR?
I got an email this morning about the new DEN "United Club Fly" lounge (looks like a grab-and-go style lounge) and updates on new EWR lounge with mockup images. And below it mentioned shower suites at EWR. Is UA really bringing back showers at UA Clubs?

Enjoy new amenities like self-scan entry, a full-service coffee bar and shower suites.

'Cause I ain't got nobody
Oh and there's nobody that cares for me
There's nobody that cares for me
I'm so sad and lonely
Sad and lonely, sad and lonely
This EWR 1K United Club member got nothing from United today except a receipt ....

Ahh, thanks. All of my EWR flights in the past few months seem to be in/out of the C70s or C90s. A bigger club certainly would be welcome; the C74 lounge has been packed every visit recently. Perhaps the Jimmy Dean sandwiches will have disappeared by then...!
