Return of showers!

Do you think showers will return to other clubs as well?

I think it's a good bet that the under-construction clubs at DEN-B West and ORD-C will get showers too, along with any forthcoming major renovations at hub lounges (SFO, IAH, IAD maybe?). I imagine the yet-to-be-constructed new United Club at the new Terminal A at EWR will also have showers.

I hope so. It was annoying when they removed them and made it a Polaris lounge only feature.

I doubt the DEN clubs will get showers. Not enough international flights, and they already have too small a footprint. I don't know where they would carve out the space, unless it is designed into the new Concourse A club. That might make sense if they had Intl departures go from A, but the largest widebody gates are on B.

Worth noting that at least the new B-East club will be taking over part of the mezzanine level below, as well as the entire footprint of the former club. It is a full-gut rebuild and will be considerably larger.

UA will also have widebody, FIS-connected gates in the new A extension. Some of the gates appear to have dual-bridge loading, as well.

They are starting to put the windows in overlooking the concourse. It can not be much longer now. I think the consensus is this summer.

Just travelled thru EWR. Lounge scene is still pathetic in C. Rediculously over crowded and a zoo. Really embaressing they didnt have a plan. Terminal A is still light years ahead in terms of a useable club worth visiting

Ditto to that! EWR UNCLE CHARLIE today is packed to the gills. Team at front desk (who are super nice despite all this chaos) said closer to end July for C123

It appears they are making some progress at the new huge EWR United Club.
there’s a new, modern walkway in the gates away, and if one walks under them, you can see work in underway on the new club overhead

Smeone I know was invited to a May 12 preview event at the new EWR-C3 club so I'm hopeful that it will be open for everyone shortly thereafter.

Should I reroute my 13 May flight? Or would that be jumping the gun?
