They were 1 shy with scheduled exits. However since that report ExpressJet has been given a bit of a reprieve and CommutAir is gearing up for more E145s. The 50-seater plans are in a bit of flux at the moment.

UAX:
Q200: Entire fleet retired from UAX service yesterday. Last 9 of a historic total of 16 completed service, meaning UA is now an all jet airline domestically.

Airlines that have the good sense to rid them from their fleets.... I think mostly AA.
United doesn't care about comfort so much...

Would it be possible to see how many of the flights the CRJ200s are on that are blocked for longer than 1.5 hours? That would be pushing the limit I'd be comfortable with, as a relatively fit, not very tall person.

From AA since AW's contract is not being renewed. Before AA they were under the US banner.

Years ago AW was a UAX carrier. What goes around comes around.

I have a post somewhere in this forum about that. I don't know of a tally, but you can get a good idea by searching random registrations. Most AW flights are under an hour. Few go over 1.5 hours.

Any idea if this plane is slotted for the new IAH-SYD route? Or do they just send any 789 in the fleet? Also, I'm guessing they need at least two 789s to cover this route.

I believe the new route starts on the 18th, I'm flying it on the 24th. I saw N29971 on the tarmac when I was in CHS in December and it would be kind of cool to fly such a new plane.

This airplane actually won't be flying IAH-SYD for quite some time, since it's assigned to the sUA side for flight attendant staffing. IAH-SYD will be flown by sCO flight attendants, IIRC.

As a matter of practice, United does not dedicate specific frames to routes.
