Silly question... does the upcoming retirement of the UA 752s mean that there will no longer be any mainline aircraft that have the old blue-water lavs? IIRC every other aircraft in the fleet have vacuum lavs.

Was pleasantly surprised after being whisked by GS to make a 7 min connection in LAX onto N483UA (#4283) only to find the new F seats and power even though the app showed indicated no power. ^

Not sure what the process is for updating the fleet site but I was on 4618/N418UA for ORD-LGA tonight and it has the new F cabin. Fleet site shows it as Slimline but not new F.

(Also, FWIW, the power outlets on the new F seats are more forgiving than those on the E175 and 73_ -- my 130W Dell charger actually works on the A3_, for the others I have to punt to a 90W charger if I want power)

How many E145 are leaving the fleet this year? I noticed that some OMA-EWR flights later in the year are scheduled for E170, whereas they have been universally E145 for as long as I remember.

The fleet plan released next week will show exact numbers (as they stand today), but i can confirm that the E145 exits will pick up from the slow pace of 2016. ExpressJet will begin losing E145LR's again in addition to the XR's that have been transferring to AX and C5 this year. As more E175s are added to the fleet, longer regional routes like OMA-EWR will get upgauged.

On the earnings call, it is rumoured there will be a fleet announcement with a top off order of 77Ws and altering the A35J order into A321s.

Guess we will find out tomorrow!

I feel like A321s are a must-order with Boeing being absent from the MOM segment as of now...everyone says great things about the A350Js, but without any further longhaul craft retirement, it definitely feels like UA would be long a lot of ULH planes without adequate coverage for things like thin/narrow TATL routes.
