2142 is a ferry flight number. Unsure what kind of work its going to get in HKG.

It's UA flight 2142 for the portion IAH-HNL, and different flight number afterwards, in most cases sequential. eg: UA2143 HNL-GUM on the next day.

Currently both UA and AA have their 777s re-configed at HKG, and IIRC UA 2 cabin 763s were re-configed at HKG as well. It's done in HAECO @HKG mostly due to relatively lower cost

Right now it's all assumption based on various posts in this thread as well as your 'Polaris retrofit schedule' thread, nothing official yet, but if this bird is confirmed receiving polaris conversion that's the first one from existing fleet.

Thanks much Joe and Juventini! Do you mind if I post your answers on the other thread? Is there a way to post a link to your response on the threads? Alternatively, feel free to post yourself. Thanks!

Just right click on the post number and gives you a URL for that specific post.

From everything I've read, I was under the impression that it was going to be a split Scimitar like 737

That seems like a lot of work for what may not be all that much better performance @:-)

Plus the photos of Max 737 OEM scimitars look very much like the top is the same old winglet

Sadly I missed one of the testing birds at DAL by just a couple of hours

SFO-BOS-SFO daily 777 flight resumes 2/16 with one additional 77G

UAX Update

The last 12 E-175s have now been assigned to Mesa. Beginning May 2017 Mesa will begin taking deliveries of 12 more E7Ws (originally ordered by Republic for UAX). This will bring Mesa's E7W fleet to 60 flying for UAX. Republic will also taKe 12 deliveries. Skywest has 7 more to be delivered as well.

In total this will bring Skywest to 65 E75s, Mesa 60 E75s, Republic 28 E75s. Total 153 (which is exactly the scope limit).
