Ditto. Desktop browsers don't work, but mobile app seems fine.

9/13/16 UA Website Log-In Down

I just tried to log-in to my account at United.Com and it would not allow me to log in. At the top of the web page is a Yellow Banner that reads:

"We’re aware of a temporary technical issue affecting MileagePlus sign-in. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Does anyone else have this issue or any other information about when the "temporary" issue will be solved ?

Yep same issue. No idea on resolution.

Fixed. Thank goodness.

Doesn't bring up reservations in the tiles still for me, but going to the reservations page does bring them up.

I can also confirm that the site is accessible again, including showing the tiles on my desktop.

Therefore, I'll combine this with the consolidated thread on website performance/functionality. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator.

Guess united.com is not that much longer but old habits die hard.

I know this is relatively old news, but I keep typing ual.com, and as this is probably the 3rd or 4th ticket I've booked since it stopped working, it finally hit me to check this thread, to confirm it no longer works. Sad to see it go, and I agree, it should be no big deal, but for whatever reason, it is taking me a while to change.

I tried to go back to see the earliest ticket I booked on ual.com, but for whatever reason, it seems I purged my united archives at some point, and the earliest receipt is from 2003 -- probably because at some point before then disk space was at a premium. Interestingly enough, that receipt has several links (itineraries, mileage plus, travel FAQs). Most direct to united.com, but the itineraries link directed to ual.com, so they were mostly, but not totally transitioned by then.

Request credit link not working

The link on the United site for requesting Star Alliance airline mileage credit is not working. On this page, the link takes you to the Economy Plus subscription credit form, not the Star Alliance airline form.

Anyone have the direct link? Thanks.

If you google it, the right link pops up.

I reported this to UA Insider a few days ago, and they have passed it onto the web team. Hopefully will be fixed shortly.

Are you sure? What were you searching for as I couldn't find it using Google and still can't.

Hi alexperi
Thanks for pointing this out. We are aware and are working on a fix.
We recommend that you use the link under “Travel on United or United Express” and the form options will have Star carriers in the drop-down.
Thanks,
UA Digital Insider

Different pricing for upgrade...

Have a current reservation in "P" class that I checked to see how much to get to "ON".

When I click on upgrade reservation the one flight that is eligible for upgrade says 30,000 miles + $600 co-pay. Or I can click the "Upgrade All Available Flight" option which is 20,000 + $600 co-pay.

I don't know which one I would actually get charged if I wanted to do miles + co-pay.

This is for an ORD-HKG-SIN flight booked as a through flight. I wonder if the through flight is confusing this.

Unable to change online

I bought a flexible ticket, then changed it through the website to a non-refundable one. After the initial change, the resulting reservation cannot be changed online any further. Clicking "change flights" link in the reservation leads to the usual "change cannot be initiated" error.

I had a schedule change earlier today, that lead to "accept changes"/"do not accept changes" reservation dialog, but even at that point not accepting the schedule change did not let me modify the flights.

Anyone experienced this? What might be the reason (if this needs a reason)?
