Just found this thread. Curious to hear about sightings. Anyway because my leading and final flights on United are usually into MEX I have seen my fair share of Mexican celebrities, mostly of television/telenovela fame. But I recognize them easily because I do partake (and the tablet is loaded to the last kb) of many telenovelas.
Last was a Mr. Alexis Ayala on UA 293 MEX-LAX 23May16.

Sometime before celebrity sightings pages on FT (maybe 10-15 years ago) I flew ORD-HKG on the 747. Saw a bunch of camera flashes going off in F, didn't think much of it.
Upon landing, half in a daze from a 15-hour flight, I find myself on the jetway next to Muhammad Ali with Layla, his daughter. It then clicked with me what all the flashes were from the F cabin before departure.
I shook his hand and said "thanks, Champ". Layla said they were on their way to SIN for some sort of International Olympic Committee meeting.

Got rerouted ORD-> SFO thru SLC

That guy was on the plane from SLC -> SFO, plane was a E-175 and he was in 3A, I was in 4A, he had to recline about half way to keep his head from hitting the ceiling. Said he was going to Santa Barbara for vacation.
I didn't talk to him, but a family sitting across the aisle took some pictures and got autographs. I didn't know who he was until we went o leave the plane and looked at his luggage tag.
