11/12/16 DFW-DEN 4:50ish flight. Temple Grandin in 2C. She was in line in BG1 directly behind me and when I turned around, I instantly thought it was her. On closer inspection, the 'TG' scarf holder and the steer pin on her collar kind of gave it away. No one else noticed. I helped her with her bag to the overhead and only on getting ready to disembark did I say anything. Just asked her if she was down giving talks. We ended up in the center part of B gates and I just said "Welcome Home" and she said- "Want a selfie?". I took a pic and we proceeded to talk for about 15 minutes. Fascinating lady. We talked education, children, STEM academics, bananas, the color of paper and letters and of course brain/cognition differences. I finally felt bad taking her time. A woman on the train recognized her and freaked out.

Based on a FB friend's feed, Corey Booker was on a flight from MIA-EWR or FLL-EWR today. He didn't get a CPU either (he was #3 on the list)

Also, I had William Shatner behind me in the TSA line at LAX a few weeks ago. Couldn't figure out why the agent was so quick in waving me through until I heard him say "Good morning Mr. Shatner!"
