Bentz and Conger, a three-time All-Met swimmer of the year from Good Counsel High School, were pictured by Brazil’s TV Globo entering a police office at Rio de Janeiro’s international airport with their carry-on luggage, but they did not comment to a reporter. The O Globo newspaper reported that the swimmers had boarded United Airlines Flight 128 to Houston and that two representatives from the U.S. Consulate and one from the USOC had arrived at the airport to accompany them.

Yesterday, Oct. 23rd, YVR to LAX on UA 5547. Gene Simmons, wife Shannon Tweed, daughter Sophie, and what appeared to be a boyfriend in First a few rows ahead of us. Shannon is Canadian, but not sure if that was related to their being in Vancouver.

I sat next to former representative and 2012 presidential candidate Michele Bachmann from RNO to DEN on UA 401 this afternoon. The flight was interesting already for other reasons:http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...periences.html
She was in 1E. She was recognized and greeted by the purser but otherwise left alone. We had a nice conversation about politics and law and although we have divergent views I was impressed.
