Well a couple weeks ago I did IAH-HNL-IAH in F both ways in the 772. They had pillows and blankets on every F seat.

As mentioned earlier, the wide-bodies are usually catered as such.

Depending on when you're traveling, you could still get 772 HD with lie-flats or a swap to an international 772.
I wish uA would use more of the 767-400 to HNL that's the best way to go

On the way out we did IAD-HNL and we had blankets and pillows and a great meal (and super service). We came back from Kona and things were very different.

What routing and equipment did you take? Other than the once a week (Saturday) 752 thru Denver, there are no great options out of Kona unless you take HA to HNL and connect.

The SFO-HNL flight was really well-timed for me, great plane to catch when connecting to get to HNL.

Yes, you can definitely get mai tais as part of being in F. I find them to be horribly sweet though.

Agree 100% - the Mai Tai is far too sweet. And not enough rum (which can be addressed on board).

My non-beer preference is a Moscow Mule. Ginger grows all over the Islands and the Russians were contemplating claiming Maui at one point during the whaling days, so I consider it a Hawaii drink....

I'm on Denver- Honolulu right now. United 383. (With wifi!!). It's okay. Barcalounger, pillow, blanket, tons of leg room.... the Golden Girls are servicing as best they can. 7 hours, then Ill walk down to Mokulele and take the Kharmann Ghia to west Maui. It isn't Emirates, but its ok.

Hopefully the wind conditions remain calm here on West Maui. Mokulele has been known to turn around and land back at HNL if the conditions are tough.

We flew from HON to KON on Hawaii the previous Saturday. Route was IAD-HNL on UA, cruised for a week, then HON-KOA as stated, and then KOA-DEN-IAD.
