HNL-IAD is daily on a seasonal basis, and when it's not daily, it usually operates on the weekends.

For whatever reason, I have a tough time sleeping on the barcaloungers on the 777s. I avoid them for red eyes whenever possible.

Personal device entertainment.
Although, they offer iPads now (are they still doing that?) in F.

Where in Hawaii? EWR-SFO-LIH should get you lie-flat the whole way.

Only if the SFO-LIH segment is operated by a 752.

Westbound, it's fine. It's like a recliner and nice for a daytime flight.

Eastbound, I'm not sure why you're being restricted to a 30-minute connection at EWR. The flight arrives in the morning - no later departure to YYZ?

I was not aware of this - can you provide link?

All over UA board @:-)

ALL Hawaii and some 3 class 777s are going domestic with lie flat Biz and 3-4-3 in back.

First one done, others to follow.

Wow - completely missed it. When they're mostly switched over, I might have to start transiting Honolulu more often. How many F seats?

I have called a few times and the agents keep insisting that I can only rebook on UA metal not AC metal even if a UA codeshare...

016 ticket? If paid ticket and not award, just insist on the best flights including AC operated (codeshares are meaningless in this discussion). If push-back, insist on a supervisor. UA has disrupted your plans, they need to address that.

28F/102Y+/234Y. It's a pretty terrifying ratio and I'm worried they'll try to market it as a lie flat and block it from the normal fare table.

IAD-HNL is Saturdays only out of season. I don't see why they can't get you on to a later UA flight. Did you try suggesting a specific one by flight number? The computer might not suggest it if it makes a connection longer than 4 hours.

Code:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cxr Flight Orig Dest Dep Arr Equip Days Starts Ends
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
 UA 145 IAD HNL 09:00 14:25 764 S 12-Nov-16 10-Dec-16

 UA 14 HNL EWR 16:20 06:53+1 764 MTWRFSU 05-Nov-16 15-Dec-16

 UA 4199 EWR YYZ 07:31 09:15 E45 MTWRF 28-Nov-16 09-Dec-16
 UA 4261 EWR YYZ 12:13 13:50 E45 MTWRFSU 03-Dec-16 15-Dec-16
 UA 4435 EWR YYZ 15:52 17:34 E45 MTWRF U 07-Dec-16 15-Dec-16
 UA 3553 EWR YYZ 17:30 19:12 E75 MTWRFSU 04-Dec-16 15-Dec-16
MCT is 0h55 with a terminal change or 0h45 without, so explain that your new connection violates MCT and ask for a later flight.

Yes spoke to supervisor x 2. THey insist that even thought it is a 016 ticket that if I go to a UA codeshare it needs to be re-priced.

Is there a United Lurker on here I can reach out to for help?

Afraid United Insider doesn't really lurk here except for posting program devaluations. Not like the old CO Insider

Cancel for a refund and rebook on DL via MSP. They fly a 330 with lie-flats and the connections from YYZ work just fine.

Don't give your money to UA since they're being so unaccommodating.
