hmm.... i don't think UA would "waste" a doible digit route number on a mexican or canadian city. also, the PM of vietnam is currently in the US (for those of us who think it might be SGN). i'm excited!

Competing with Vietnam Airlines?
United probably tries to starve off Vietnam Airlines with lax-SGN route. They do have A359 and B787 to fly to US but have not done so.

fly in and out of LAX multiple times a year and wished they wouldn't downgrade, but they have over the years and increasing SFO. SFO is the gateway to Asia so there you go.
