The Fleet Status site is:

https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/

At the site, you can find information about the interior features, livery, etc., for every plane in United's fleet.

To determine which plane your flight will be on go to mobile.united.com and then click on flight status. Put in the flight number for your flight and just have it use today's date (occasionally it'll say flight not operated on this date in which case just choose one of the other 3 dates it lists). In the address bar you'll see something like this:

mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

https://mobile.united.com/FlightStatus/FlightDetails?carrierCode=UA&flightNumber=415&flig htDate=9%2F15%2F2015&origin=JFK&destination=SFO

Just change the flight date to match the day of your scheduled flight and then change the origin / destination as necessary. Once you do that look in the details tab under aircraft # and if they have assigned a plane it'll say something like #3506 and the type of plane. Once you know that go to the United Fleet website listed above and cross-reference the four digit number against the "aircraft" column under the appropriate aircraft type.

Keep in mind that things change as they get closer and sometimes either they won't have assigned an aircraft yet or it'll be assigned #0 if it's a few days away and they are anticipating aircraft movement.

You may also check the specific fleet variant of each flight at the United Cargo site under "Schedules & tracking". This data tends to be reliable starting 7 days in advance, but is always subject to change.

If it is for 90 min or less, it is what it is, but they are using them on longer hops and it's not a good product for that. Why can't UA just do what's right rather than always offering less than everyone else while trying to package it as if it were industry leading
The soft product is abysmal, I agree, however the hard product is one of the best IMO. The seats are very comfortable - the seat material feel somewhat similar to the ones found in Lexus sedans and the padding is soft but firm - and the headrests are very nice. Also you can't beat 2-2 configuration with a nicely sized cabin and proper overhead bins.

Now, they are installing those horrible slimlines that have rock hard padding in the top 6 inches of the seat that gives me a headache after resting my head on it for 10-15 minutes.

Any chance of 67I getting wifi by December? The United Wifi pages says "Estimated fleet completion: July 2015" so I am wondering. I am going to fly ORD-LHR and, well, wifi would be quite welcome especially on the way back when not sleeping

If N775UA is not damaged, I hope it is at SFO for WiFi install. It was at HKG for maintenance at the end of June.

The 767s should have the WiFi installations begin sometime soon. The FAA STC of the radome on the 767 is expected sometime in September.

Since UA got caught up on all "dark" 739 aircraft that were in the fleet, starting with 3830 new units have gone from SEA to INT for WiFi. There are no mainline aircraft that are without at least one of the following types of IFE: AVOD, Overheads TVs, personal TVs, DirecTv, WiFi and/or streaming WiFi content.
