Always a matter of opinion, but I value my time, any my sanity, too highly to be prepared to fly connections weekly for 9 months. And I wouldn't hold my breath for UA to add significantly to LAX.

No way. UA would only be #2 on that route and they don't like to challenge the market leaders, esp. when OAL has it hub/hublet.

I believe UA tried this route nonstop around 10 years ago. It did not work.
Currently for nonstop you have WN (flying as ValuJet - I mean Airtran) or DL.
To the OP how many flts are you going to take on this route? Weekly, monthly, twice a week? If flying Y - take the DL nonstop's in EC. If flying F - it is DL.

It'll be weekly Sun - Thurs. I always assumed UA was the leader at LAX given that they have two terminals so I chose UA when I started flying for work three years ago.
Looks like I may have to jump ship and stick with DL. Thanks for the input.

Again, pay for the EC seats. It's better than flying to DEN than connecting. Happy travels.

If I was based in ATL, I'd be on Delta.

BOI-IAH and Back!
BOI is the Birthplace of UA. Please a BOI-IAH Nonstop! And return. Even once a day would be great!
I bet the flight would be a huge sell for UA.

DEN-HVN would be even better, but hey, I'm realistic .

Yeah, I guess there's a difference between living/working in LA / flying out of LAX vs just changing planes at LAX. Where you hate it, I love it.
