Do you like aisles or windows on long flights?

Welp, point is moot now. Was going to upfare from Q for the PQP, but waited too long and Z=0 now. Definitely not paying the outrageous amount they want for C, so will stick with 21D.

Normally a window person (and could still take 21A), but 3-3 seating on t-con...may give up the window for aisle access.

view from row 28

Will I be able to see past the wing from seat 28A or F? Or will the view be totally obscured by the wing? It looks like the row is behind the wing, but I don't always trust those diagrams to be accurate. I just want to be able to see the ground, or at least the clouds, as it helps with motion sickness.

How do I know if my flight has the updated first class seats or not? Flying UA 2303 (IAD - SAN) on 11/3.

Generally, look up your tail assignment tomorrow, then check it on the fleet site to see the exact configuration.

That said, all 739 except one are slimline, so that's likely what you'll get. There's only one with the new NEXT seats.

are there cutouts in 1A/B on 39M? found my old posts asking about it - no

for 737-900, any specific types (not) have cutouts between 73C, 73K, and73L?

Everything about where to sit on a Boeing 737 MAX9

Do we have a thread for this yet? A very bad seat is 20A as the panel between the two overwing exits protrudes 2” inward vs having a window where one can lean outward two inches - or even if there was just no special panel - by your shoulder. The seatback is flush with the fuselage at the shoulder, that’s how tight this is - another inferior design feature of this aircraft.

I’m just here waiting for someone to say the obvious… lol. Although I think it’s row 27 on the United 7M9s?

All the MAX's have been treated a variant of the standard aircraft. The MAX9 is one of four variants of the 739. There are minimal seating differences among the variants.

Where to sit 737 Max 9 E+ with partner to ensure whole row

Partner and I fly in 3 days. Currently we are in exit row 21C and B. We'd love a whole row for our 5 hour flight and there are currently 25 open E+ seats. What's the best strategy ? Change the middle now to aisle and hope for the best? Leave alone and ask for an open row in E+ at the gate? Would love some advice.

I would take an aisle and a window and cross my fingers. This works for us 30% of the time. The number of open E+ seats might not be an indicator of coach load for the flight and more flights seem to be going out full than before. Turn on expert mode and see if it is still selling at Y9. Anecdotally I have heard the GA fill the E+ middles front to back. All that said, there is a very good chance a non E+ customer without a seat assignment or non-rev will be seated between you, but you can always move to aisle-middle or middle-window, whichever you prefer.

So I turned on expert mode and this came up for the flight. Any insights?
