I think UA was successful, as they went from 2 F available for purchase to me being at the top of the waitlist with F sold out. First time I missed F on a RJ hop like this in a while... Well, I would have misconnected due to WX as it was.

Yes, I did someone in when I did SDC and got myself into FC
So yes, it's possible, but considering they tried to SELL me a FC seat for $ 267 IIRC ....
And with F=2 an hour or two before the flight, just seems unlikely that there would be TWO SDC @:-)

IAH<->LGA upgrades seem to (nearly) have doubled from $59 to $109 per leg. Not upgrading anymore as a Gold in a variety of fare classes, and not getting upgraded either (obviously).

Well just checked in for my outbound, SFO-ORD-MUC-MRS.
Says upgrade to Business First starting from $3629. All on W fares.

1st Class Upgrade - NYC to LAS - Only $67??
I have a flight next month from EWR to LAS for work, and while I am booked in economy now, I can get an upgrade to First for only $67. The upgrade for the flight home is $1,500+. Has anyone ever seen an upgrade that cheap? Although I'd have to pay out of pocket, I'm seriously considering it. When I first booked a month ago it was $300, then last week it was $150, and now $67. Something seems wrong here, no?
Also, just noticed, Economy Plus is actually more expensive to upgrade to than First, at $76+.

Do I get extra miles for the flight there? I think my company would pay the $25 I'm saving on not checking a bag for a week conference, so for $42, seems worth it.

No status > status in these scenerios recently it appears. I had a similar deal where EWR -> PTY upgrade to J was cheaper than E+ (before I got UA status)
