MCT for EWR (2012)
https://www.newarkairport.com/at-airport/connecting-flights
United Airlines operates an "air side" shuttle bus between Terminals A and C from 4:00AM to 12:00AM (midnight). In addition, United also operates a shuttle bus connecting Terminals A and C to terminal B (pier 3, used by Star Alliance carriers) from 1:00PM to 11:00PM, but not in the opposite direction (shuttle does not board at Terminal B). The shuttle bus is available at gate A28 and C70 as illustrated in the image above. The shuttle drops off passengers at the terminal B through the service entry, that requires walking up 2 flights of stairs - there is no elevator. Only the front bus doors will open for alighting at terminal B.This service is free and you will not have to go through TSA security again. Please note this shuttle is operated at the sole responsibility of United Airlines and is subject to modification at their discretion.

Hello, does anyone know the current schedule for Catholic Mass on Sundays at the EWR Interfaith Chapel, please? I found information from an unofficial source that is a few years old, and wanted to confirm the latest information.
The Chapel is located "between Gates C70-99 and C101-115".
I can't seem to get an answer through PANYNJ, so if anyone who is walking by the chapel in the next few days could see if a sign is posted and share your findings, my wife and I would be very grateful. Thank you very much.

If my United flight lands in EWR terminal A (and I have no further onward travel that day), is it possible to take the airside shuttle to terminal C to use the United Club in terminal C?
There are reviews online about a United Club in terminal A, but the official United site does not show it for some reason:
https://www.united.com/en/us/fly/tra...locations.html

UA had a club in the old terminal A. It hasn't opened its planned club in new terminal A yet.

"I had a hard time understanding those instructions about the location, but (after walking around) I think they are saying the chapel is in the corridor near starbucks / polaris lounge just after TSA in terminal C. If that is correct, I don't see any indication of an organised service offered. For that matter, I haven't seen any airport chapel with any kind of structured service."
Thank you so much for your recon! You saved my wife and me a big disappointment, and I am very grateful.

UA ops are not affected, as only UA international arrivals use Terminal B.

Bit OT, but I recall PA announcements at an airport regarding service times at the chapel. Maybe ORD?

Connection time at Newark Airport
Hi
I presently have a reservation from LAX to EWR with a 68 minute connection to my flight to Madrid. It looks like everything will be in Terminal C. I am sitting in economy. Is this enough time to make my Madrid flight. Customer support said that it was but thought I should ask those with more experience
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to FT!, Mayday90272
68 minutes is plenty of time, if flights are on time, to make an UA-UA connection in EWR, This is really not different than a standard domestic connection, there is no difference, except you should be at the departure gate 10-15 minutes earlier.
However, the above is based on your arrival to Newark being on time or not more than 15-30 minutes late.
The issue is if you do arrive more more than 45-60 minutes late which can happen and with only one flight a day to MAD, you may be spending the night in an EWR hotel or taking a very long detour.
Many would suggest 120 minutes or more connection at EWR to ensure a higher chance being able to take a delay and still make the flight.

Also, if it is in a widebody and there is a delay program, UA would prioritize those arrivals as those planes (787, 777) are used in the evening bank to Europe, Israel, JNB, India, etc.

OK, I have surmised that terminal A doesn't have a club yet, and that it is fine to use the club in C and then take the shuttle to A (as long as you leave enough time). What I haven't been able to see (and it is probably here somewhere, but my searches didn't return anything) is:
Can I check my back in at terminal C if my flight leaves terminal A? It would be nice to only have to take the shuttle once rather than twice. But I I don't want to show up at C with my backs to check only to be sent with the bags to terminal A..
Thank you.

Terminal C TSA was an absolute mess yesterday (Friday) at around 1:30 PM. All the lines were backed up well past the barrier system and people bunched about everywhere. Even the CLEAR/PreCheck line, which you can typically breeze through.
Appeared to be TSA staffing as the cause. Only one luggage screening lane open for the Pre-Check line, even though 2 doc checkers were feeding into it.

Not really new. Even slow flying Saturdays can get backed up at certain time of the day. I was there on a Thursday at noon recently, and there was more TSA staff than pax. No lines whatsoever. My flight was 5 minutes away from door closure
