I, like many others, am missing all my UA miles and lifetime balance, etc.

However, the website also incorrectly lists my status as "Member", instead of my correct status of 1K.

Has anyone else seen this?

I am flying from Sydney to LAX in several hours, then on to ORD and TVC, and am worried that I may experience various issues (denied entrance to the united club, possible loss/re-assignment of my exit row/E+ seats, etc.).

Note also that I received 1K status via a status challenge (I need to complete the challenge by April 16th).

Also, as a minor note, my account now lists me as "Miss" instead of "Doctor" (since I first created the continental account back when I was in high school), and there is no way to correct this on the website...

I had a flight at 7:00 AM LAX-SFO that I could not get a boarding pass to. It took about 30 minutes for an agent to figure out how to issue it by which point the flight was delayed 3 hours. I re-routed to SJC and got in only about 30 minutes later than had I taken my original SFO flight.

I have a return tonight at 10:38 which I could also not check in to. I called the premier line and it took over 3 hours before an agent picked up. They were able to fix the check-in issue but when I asked whether the online standby tool would work they said it would not because my ticket was originally purchased on .bomb.

Here's to hoping the lines at SFO aren't too crazy when I get there.

Skyped in from SYD Koru Club Lounge. Reservation says Modification.....call reservation to reissue. On hold for 2+ houurs with 1K voice and lost my connection. SYD-SFO is fine but lost my seat on SFO-LHR. Still no UA rep in the lounge and Annie is no where to be found. Hoping someone shows up soon.

Got a call to check in over the phone - this is the first time the automated system has tried to automatically check me in. However, after answering all the questions and saying yes to getting checked in for the 3/4 flight - the response was we are currently not able to check you in please go to the airport to check in.

The idea of checking in by phone is good, if it was working. I am sure it is due to my travel plans and passport/visas etc. And yet again I was not on the upgrade list from SJO-IAH segment of the flight.

Still have a TPAC itin which is showing the NRT-SFO light AFTER my SFO-xxx domestic connection. This leaves a concern of taking flights out of order and subsequently having the remainder of the itin cancelled.

Also, I'm still not able to do (almost) any functional SE Asia award searches. SIN-SGN and SIN-HKG bring results, but SIN-BKK/PNH/RGN/CGK/DPS/HAN/MNL fail to even bring up a calendar.

All that appears is:


united.com could not find any available flights for award travel meeting your requirements
I can assure you, this has nothing to do with actual availability.

SE Asia to N Asia awards seem to give legit results.

1k line throws you straight into a busy signal. On the normal number, I am now on hold for almost 2 hours.

Any suggestions?

This is rediculous and in my opionion ruins the conversion outcome......big fail in my book. A proper conversion plan would have anticipated this high call volume and EVERY phone agent should have been on duty. I have visions of vacant calll center desks. If every available phone is manned, then that's a different story. :td:

I tried earlier and could not get through.

I just tried again and got through in 1 minute. The woman I talked to was absolutely the nicest reservations agent I've talked to in 30 years and was very apologetic for the glitches.

I think they do have a lot more people working than earlier in the day.

I'm pretty sure, considering they've stated this, that every phone booth (:p) is being manned, plus some. They have filled their call centers

Can I put in a request now to add a real search to the United site? "Ask Alex" is NOT a search and doesn't work as one, and I've spent quite some time digging through the site trying to find things which should be obvious.

Seems like I made a mistake somewhere, checked in online yesterday for my flight to ORD today and printed the boarding pass and it scanned fine at the gate so assumed everything was good to go. Now my itinerary returning to EWR Mon shows as cancelled so system must think I never took the flight today. Sounds like system must have wanted me to check in again with the new itinerary number before I flew but allowed the old boarding pass to be valid. On hold trying to get it fixed.

Yep.....another customer screw up. Had nothing to do with the conversion plan.;)
