I have tried all combinations of surnarmefirstmiddle+PNR, firstmiddlesurname+PNR, surname+firstmiddle, firstmiddle+surname. Nothing works.

I ended up going to the old site and looked up the details of my reservation with the TK PNR that I got from the booking carrier AC. I noticed that the ticket numbers didn't match what was on my last AC confirmation (I'm thinking there is yet another itinerary change and ticket reissue I haven't gotten from AC yet).

I then went back to the new site and used my last name and those ticket numbers, and everything worked great. I was able to select seats for the two TK segments within 100 days, but not for the ones further out.

Just a heads up, I believe something changed in the Turkish website under manage check in. I booked my ticket via Aeroplan. I have to first get the TUrkish confirmation from Aeroplan. Once I have it, I would enter it into their system, it will then kick me to a different screen where I have to enter the ticket #, which is available on the aeroplan receipt. You can then pick your seats as everything appears to show properly now

Yeah I can look up my itinerary on the old TK site, but it shows no ticket numbers. When I use Surname + Ticket number on the new site I get an error. Now I need to figure out if my call to TK call center to get my seats assigned is what messed this up, or if it was UA when I called them to get one of my domestic UA segments waitlisted for I class. My booking on the old TK shows as confirmed, just no ticket numbers showing which I suspect is the reason I cannot view my itinerary on the new site.

Thanks for the heads up. I tried with two upcoming itineraries on the new site for seat assignments. Only one itinerary worked. The other one has no problem to show up at the old website but can not be found on the new site.:confused:

Indeed, my Aeroplan-booked TK flights opened up

I entered Name + TK PNR
Took me to another page to enter Last Name + Ticket #
After that I can choose the seats (still not too smooth, can't just hit Next and Next to choose 2 segments in 1 step)
Did it twice for 1 PNR + 3-pax PNR

Nice that we don't have to call anymore

Is there a difference between the web sites. In the UK I have tried over the past three days to get to the seat selection area of Manage My Booking with varying degrees of success but not one attempt has got me to the point that I can actually make a seat selection. The best has been that my itinerary has shown up.

I am travelling business and I expect to be able to make a seat selection on what is heralded as a premium airline

I am a little confused, what is the 'new' website? I only can find this portal to go to seat selection: http://www.turkishairlines.com/en-in...seat-selection


When I fill in my details I get the message: No passenger able to carry out seat selection found under your reservation.

It is a long haul booking (I think) (Amsterdam - Tashkent).


During the booking process I remember selecting seats, but I do not exactly remember which seats I had chosen. I am able to login to my booking and see the flights (Confirmed). But no seat numbers are shown anywhere.

Edit: I have used a VPN to work as if I am in the US and now I am able to visit the new website with seat selection.

So what is the new Website with this seat selection as the UK site doesn't let you do it. Any chance of a link?

I had to connect to a VPN located in the US, but after doing so I'm able to open the new website. (I'm located in Norway, and I always get redirected to the old one).

I have booked a TK J flight through UA miles in a couple months. I called twice and had my seats confirmed twice on the phone. When I go to my UA seat selection page it shows 1 flights seats but not the other TK segment. Even though I called to confirm twice. Is there a way to double check the correct seat was assigned besides calling?

Having similar issues to others in seat selection on the new website. I enter in my last name and conf number, brings me to the next screen which asks for surname and ticket numbers, i enter those and then the page tries to load the next page but then it just errors out and shows nothing.

However, when I revert to the old site, I can access my itinerary but cannot find any info on how/where to select a seat.
