I just called in to assign seats. Is there a way to verify somehow online it was saved and done correctly? I distinctly remember calling a couple years ago and thinking it was all saved and then checking online to see no seats assigned.

I have the same issue, have to call the dreaded call center in India.

Their website is drek.
Never mind the part that says "booking one-way flights not allowed for Turkish citizens" - I'm not Turkish - but yes, the seat selection also has always sprouted errors. But then, when I check-in, the seats happen to be correct. |

I guess you could book one oneway to get out of Turkey and show proof of a refundable return journey... The authorities seem to tax citizens $6 when they leave the country except those with dual citizenship. |

Booked on UA. How can I select Seats?
Hello,
As the Title says. I booked a ticket to IST with miles in Business (I) Class. Usually when i'm on a code share I can find the other airlines Confirmation code or something to reference. Any idea on how I can select my seats on Turkish with only my 016 ticket number and UA confirmation code? |
You call UA and get the TK confirmation code.
Then you call TK within 100 days of your departure and have seats assigned. |
I was told that UA doesn't receive TK's PNR. I got mine by calling TK.
|
I also select my seats by calling the TK hotline. Hope this can be done reliably online one day. However would recommend to check a few days before your flight that a a/c swap does not mess up your seat selection.

Good info. Had the exact same question as the OP. I am outside to 100 day window.

Has anyone managed to book the first row of the second business class cabin on the 77W before the online check in, or are these blocked due to bassinet seating?
