When I had my GE interview/training, the CBP agent told me that if there was a long customs line I should go to the front of the line and show the "CBP" sticker on my passport and GE entry receipt from the kiosk to the agent and skip the lineup. Did the rest of you receive these instructions as well?

When I used GE at IAD three weeks ago, they had a separate line for GE members leading up-to the officer who took the receipt. I kept the receipt and the GE sticker in plain sight, and stepped forward when he asked me if I was using Global Entry and stopped the other line of non GE pax..

I don't recall being told that, but...

This is good to hear. ^ If I ever find myself in this position I'll give it a shot.

DFW has a separate Customs line for Global Entry / diplomats / crew / wheelchairs. The officer quickly glanced at my GE receipt, compared the check digit to his list, and let me proceed. Excellent service! I cannot tell you how many times my GE membership has paid for itself in letting me make my connections, when there have been huge lines at passport control.

JFK T8 does not yet have a dedicated exit for GE, but I suspect it is in the works.

Does anybody know about ORD? I haven't come in through there in a while but will be doing so in a couple of weeks. It would be great if they had a dedicated line there.

Well just did EWR about an hour ago and it was a completely different process after answering "yes" to the food question.

They wanted me to fill out the card, which luckily I already had filled out as a back up. The guy asked me some questions and then I proceeded to walk out where the first CBP baggage agent said "They maid you fill out a card? Why, you don't need that " I said I answered yes to food, and I went through the x-ray belt with a couple other pax and was still out in record time as I had only carry-on bags. The sticker did not get me or another GE guy to the front of the line at the baggage exit, but it was still fast.

At IAH last week, they guy just stamped my X receipt and I was off, and got front of the line everywhere.

I will note that my first Terminal B kiosk did not work, so I went to the next one, waited on my A/Cs pilot to finish and I was good to go.

I love the program, but I always get different info at IAH than EWR, re: adding a passport, types of food, and front of the line status.

Well, back to lounge drinks at EWR ^

Ciao,
FH

ORD didn't have a dedicated Customs line in March when I went through.

IAH had one in March, 2010. They even have people stationed before the line starts to spy for GE receipts and direct them to the right lane. They do it right in IAH.

Enter the Terminal E/D INternational arrivals hall (where the doors exit to the public from customs) and turn left. There is a sign in desk across from the restrooms. The actual interview is done inside the customs baggage claim hall, just past the doors people exit from and to the right as you enter from the "wrong" direction. When I did my interview a CBP officer came out and escorted me in the "wrong" way, after I signed in at the desk across from the restrooms.

Ciao,
FH

Just used my GE for the first time in SFO (United International)

There were no GE signs, and the volunteer had not heard of it.
Found it over to the left, 2 machines.
Plane to Baggage: 2min 44 seconds.

Baggage took another 20min, and my priority bags came out near last.

Customs had no GE express lanes, but saw my sticker and laughed at me (1 person pushing 2 trolleys with 5 bags).

I now have been approved for nexus for $50 more and will have my eye scan on Friday in Vancouver.

thanks.
