Wow Congrats! Are you from US or Canada? I think for some reason Canadian got faster processing than US side. I called up the center and they said Canadian side conditionally approved my app, it's the US that holding app hostage lol

Hi everyone,
I benefited from this thread while waiting for my nexus application so thought I'd post my timeline now that I've been approved.
Applied: July 12, 2022
Conditionally approved: January 30, 2023
Interview: February 1, 2023
Approved: Approximately 90 minutes after the interview I received the notification that I was approved.
Other info: I live an hour from the Pembina border so was able to snag an appointment immediately after I was conditionally approved (could have gone on the 31st even but there was an appointment earlier in the day on the 1st). Travel wise (US trips aside) I'd only been to the UK during the period that the application/interview had asked about. I also worked for the Government of Canada as an intern 8/9 years ago so it's possible that some of my security clearances from back then helped speed things up a bit.
Now just have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail.

I called that number today (1-800-842-7647) and spoke with a gentleman, really friendly. My situation is this, I applied for my daughter in Aug 2021 (she was born in July 2021) and it is still Waiting For Conditional approval. This sucks for us, because my wife and other daughter (and me of course) all already have it. The guy confirmed my daughter's application is not 'lost somewhere' and that they are opening more centers and that for children it often takes longer to process. He said keep checking and was feeling optimistic it should happen sooner than later as he felt things were picking up in speed for processing the approx 300 000 applications...
we shall see!
anyways, it did feel good to speak to a human who saw her file and confirmed nothing was out of the ordinary

Applied Aug 3, 2022. Conditionally approved Feb 17, 2023. I wasn't able to find availability in my part of Canada but I was able to find a spot in Niagara Falls, NY in late March.

I called 1-800-842-7647 (Canada Border Services Agency) and asked for an application status update. They said no one is being approved in weeks and shockingly, Canada has no record of my Nexus application, both when looking up by PASSID number (I have one from a currently active GE membership expiring soon) or full name and birthday. They said to call CBP and have them check the application.

My wife and I both applied around the same time. I was conditionally approved fairly fast. She's still waiting ~16 months later. I've not found an appointment that is in any way convenient so I figured I'd keep looking but waiting until she is conditionally approved at which point we'll go visit some friends in the UP and schedule
ur interviews in Sault St. Marie.
