Any current data points on first time applicants? What’s the turnaround from application submitted to conditionally approved?
(applied June 30th, 2021)

Anyone been able to book interviews? Now that our border is open at least.

Kinda ridiculous imo that they’re still closed considering CBP has been doing virtual GE interviews.

The virtual or remote GE interviews are available only to renewing members, not to first time applicants.

Ah, that makes more sense, thanks for clarifying. I’m still hoping to score an interview or application gets automatically cancelled before March.

Gotta switch my application to Global Entry. Only have 1 week left until I must schedule or my Nexus application will be deleted. An absolute joke

Sadly there are people like my wife and I conditionally approved nov 2019 so there will sadly be a big backlog. See it taken years to catch up but hope not

Does anyone have any idea how long it takes currently to get approved conditionally? I applied for my infant daughter a while ago, just shocked at how long it would take for an infant with no criminal history or ability to be deceitful

mrlogboy Nov 24, 2021 8:19 pm

Follow up on approval times for nexus. I was approved in like 10 business day and wife took from July 2019 to feb 2020 and so delayed us both getting an appointment as had one for one week after the shut down.

luck we are still approved and appointment for start of Dec

I applied for my first renewal 2021-09-04. CA 2021-09-29. They wanted an interview...why? Who knows...when I was filling it out, the application wasn't happy with my citizenship documentation, so I added more documents, that's the best I can come up with.

Applied for my 5yo 2021-11-16, about 6 months after getting her passport. Still waiting for a response.

alan2020 how long have you been waiting?
