Thanks for getting back sadly this seems to be the norm (but I got approval in 18 days) ( both wife and I are dual citizens. She became us in 2005.)

Nexus wait times

So, I applied and paid for my NEXUS application online. GOES told me to check back every few days to find out when my appointment is set.

Here are my questions:

1) How long does it usually take to get the appointment?

2) Do I have any leeway in setting the appointment? I live in L.A. and am in Canada about once a month, so I would prefer to set the appointment during one of those trips.

3) Related to 1 and 2. I will be up in about 2 weeks. Will it be possible to get an appointment in Toronto by then?

Mine took about 2 months. My kids took about a month. Yes you can keep going in to receive a closer appt but make sure you lock in your previous spot first. It will ask you why you are cancelling. Juat put you have to work that day or a closer appt appeared so you took it

Got a CA today for my application submitted on 7/5/2019. Total wait time: 209 days.
Off to a hunt for an early interview date.

hi there
I applied on Jan 6th and am waiting to get it before my trip in May. 😐 but based off what I’ve read here it looks like it may be a wait. Good luck with yours!

This Nexus application process is opaque; and the absence of any feedback or tracking mechanism is simply painful.

My wife and 2 kids applied on 10 August 2019, and 3 of them received Conditional Approval by 4 Oct 2019.

I am currently a member of Global Entry (due to expire in Apr 2020,) submitted an initial application on 25 Nov 2019, and thus far cricket. And, because I submitted a Nexus application, I no longer have the option to renew Global Entry... Now I am faced with the real possibility of lapsing in membership by Apr 2020 and lose PreCheck privilege... Until Nexus application eventually comes through,. I know this is a first world problem, but painful nevertheless.

Wow...my heart really goes out to anyone in NY State who's been waiting half a year for approval.
