I applied solo on TTP website on July 8. That is almost three months.
Still waiting for conditional approval. Takes much longer than 40 business days.

Going on three months now. Applied July 10. Still pending review.

I was told by CBSA that US CBP is backlogged at 5 months. They have no idea how people get approved for less than two months. All that they said: "Be patient and check your dashboard on TTP site regularly for the status update"

Not sure if I'm correct or not but it seems that there are two processing times: one from CBSA and another from US CBP. The CBSA processing time may be 39 business days but US CBP 3-5 months. And since the program belongs to CBP their processing times prevail.

NEXUS is a joint program, it belongs to both CBSA and CBP. The difference in processing times is most likely due to which side you're applying through.

Hello, im applying with my family all together. Is there any chance that we can pass the interview on same day? Or its really hard now to find same day spots for 3 applicants?

"The current estimated processing time to assess your eligibility for the NEXUS program in business days."
"Processing times help you estimate how long it will take to assess your eligibility for the NEXUS program, prior to scheduling the interview. The processing time for the NEXUS application is updated monthly, based on the previous month's data."

I thought so too however when you go to TTP website it is managed by US CBP. I'm in Canada but when I applied the payment was processed in $US. The estimated processing time for NEXUS on TTP website is 3-5 months. The CBSA site for NEXUS says 39 business days. My application for initial assessment has the same "pending review" status for more than 3 months. I called CBSA and that what they told me that the program belongs to CBP and they are 5 months behind. If this is so I don't understand what is the point of indicating wait time as 39 business days.

Did you call Canadian Processing Centre? They were very helpful in the past:

Yes, this was the number that I called.

Same issue... I applied On July 18th, still "Pending Review" but I'm in US.

Applied: August 29, 2019
Conditional approval: October 17, 2019
Interview scheduled: October 21, 2019

Still waiting on hubby's conditional approval (he applied September 16th, 2019).

I applied for Nexus on June 26, 2019 and am currently still waiting for conditional approval. At the same time I applied for my wife and two kids and they all received their conditional approval about a month later and within a week of each other. I've no idea why mine is taking so much longer. Whenever I call CBP they just say it can take many months with no rhyme or reason as to why some take longer than others. This morning the agent told me it could take 6-9 months.

Does anyone know if the process is faster if you're already in global entry? I'm currently in global entry adding nexus. I would assume the results from CBP for my global entry would already be in the system.

I am already in global entry and it’s definitely not any faster. My global entry has now expired but since I applied for nexus before expiration the CBP agents have told me my global entry continues until a final decision has been made on nexus.
