But you've only been waiting a month ! |
Would that be June 9 or September 6? In any case, many, many people on this forum have been waiting for 6-12 months. Hopefully you submitted your renewal application prior to expiration, which should extend your current privileges for 24 months while you are waiting. If you waited until AFTER expiration, you can't use your benefits and could be waiting for quite awhile. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing. A new GE card is not required after approval of renewal and activate an existing card is something new. Perhaps they want to save some money. However, new expiration date does not magically appear on your existing physical card.

Applied for renewal at 11:45 am October 5
Approved at 8:20 pm October 6 No interview needed. Wife had exact same timing for approval. |
Applied 6/16/23 for my first renewal.
Still "pending" and my GE has expired. Not holding out hope if it happening any time soon. Frustrating. |

Submitted renewal app on 10/12 and just got approval this morning, 10/14!

320 days and counting for me on my second renewal.
|
A couple DPs and a question:
SO and my parents renewed (all 1st renewals) in April and May, all were approved in 1-2 days. I renewed in February, still pending review 8 months later. I assume given the 24-month grace period, after the expiration, I just keep using GE as if nothing changes? |

Finally…. My status changed to approved as of this am.
Took just over 13 months from submitting my second renewal application. Now good through Jan 2028 (they gave my 5 years from original expiration date not from date of approval). |
I applied for renewal along w my daughter around March/ April 2023. She is 5yo. We got the alert in July for her and was able to do the interview on arrival. Mine is still stuck. Jeez. Is 6mo normal?
