That is normal. Unless you applied for renewal after expiration.

My 2nd renewal was approved after around 24 hours, but sadly it is conditional, so need an interview. From sampling comments here, it seems that some of these approvals become final after some time. So maybe it's best to wait for at least half a year? It looks like they have Zoom interviews now but the site crashed when I tried to open the calendar. The one site that is 15-20 min away in good traffic just shows that it is fully booked until Nov 3. Why do they not open the calendar?

My spouse did not require an interview 5 years ago, and the same happened again. Her card showed up in the mailbox after a few weeks. I had a theory that my driver's license having a different physical address (I use a PO Box on the license and as mailing address) in the system dating back 15 years could have been the problem. Something with the DMV website does not allow me to change it. So I called in and progressively changed it to my second oldest address and then had it match my current physical address, so the sequence of former and present address matched the GOES renewal details. To no avail..........

p.s. So it's still good for the next 2 years from the expiration date? So until Nov 2025 in my case.

I received an email notification. For as long as I have been waiting, I stopped checking the site many months ago.

My renewal was approved almost three weeks ago, but I'm not seeing anything about card activation in my account, or received any indication that a new card was/will be mailed. There is a button to request a replacement card, but I don't want to create a problem by requesting one. Just mildly curious as I have no immediate plans for a border crossing.

I’m in the same state except with a NEXUS renewal. Current card is good for another six months so I just assume they’re backed up and maybe prioritizing renewal cards based on expiration of the current card.

I renewed my GE back in July of 2022 before it expired in August 2022. I was approved in May 2023 after a phone interview. However, what I noticed is my new expiration date is August 2027 which is only 4 years from the approval date but 5 years from when i submitted my application for renewal.

Does anyone know if the GE is good for 5 years from the time that you were conditionally approved or officially approved?

If you applied for renewal before the original expiration date, your next expiration date will be five years from the previous expiration date. If you let your membership lapse before applying for renewal, your new expiration date will be five years from your first birthday which falls after the final approval of the renewal application.

I didn't check this week until I got a notification email this morning

This is my second renewal. I did not need an interview for my first renewal either.

I applied for my first renewal on June 9th 2023, and still haven't recieved anything !!

My adult daughter and I did our renewal applications on November 13th. We both got our approval on Tuesday the 14th.

However, my husband submitted his renewal application on March 2, 2023 and is still pending. He reported a DUI (misdemeanor, not felony) that happened in 2018. We are hoping that it will not cause his application to be denied. Does anyone have any experience with successfully renewing their Global Entry after a DUI?
