wow. Instant conditional approval. Any thoughts on how you got that? I havent seen that before. I have TSA and no other known issues but I wonder what may have prioritized you.

No clue. Maybe being my 3rd renewal? Other than verifying my identity, my only interview question was whether or not i've been to Canada in the last 3 years. (Answer was no, but no questions about the 23 countries i've been to since my lsst renewal.)

My mom's GE renewal was submitted on July 18.

Already received the new ID card. Not sure exactly when (wasn't checking mailbox everyday), but probably sometimes in early August. No interviews, nada.

The difference in age and travel profile - I had to go before an officer in person, got questioned like I am a criminal because being in 52 countries in 2+ years raised some kind of alarms, and finger printed again. My mom, nothing at all, your renewed card in the mail already, have a good day!

Just got mine renewed after a 360 day wait. No interview required. I think this is the record. I updated the Wiki.

I just put my renewal in today. Pretty close to the expiration but made it. First time renewing.

Renewed (for 2nd time) on November 29, 2022...still waiting for conditional approval.
261 days and counting...

Renewal came through

My 2nd renewal finally came through at 363 days since application. It sounds like a number of us were right there at just under a year. I'm just happy to be done with the process.... for another not quite four years.

Just over 9 months for me...still waiting. I did apply shortly after I was eligible to renew so my current GE will expire in Nov 2023.

Because you had applied for renewal before the original expiration date, you will continue to receive all Global Entry benefits pending the final approval of the renewal application for up to 24 months after the current expiration date.

My first renewal was approved in two business days no interview! Green approved till 2028!

Chewie Aug 19, 2023 7:30 pm

I submitted my application for my 3rd GE renewal back on 06SEP2022. Almost going on 1 year where it is sitting on “pending review”.

My original expiration date was back in January.

You had to interview for renewal? I didn’t have to for my first renewal.

Finally conditionally approved after 10 months! Was able to snatch a next day in-person interview and walked out approved after 15 mins.

Yep. Perhaps because of my extensive travel activity? I can't complain; the entire process in less than three weeks, including receipt of the new card.
