Thank you very much for the answer. Keep enjoying my beautiful country, and if you need any suggestions please let me know via PM. Best of the lucks!

That was my thought exactly.

Am also remembering this for the same "bucket" of water you posted...was catching the same view you posted of the incoming BA aircraft, walking along, & almost tripped on the puddle & accompanying bucket.

Our last full day in Mendoza was another spectacular day. The morning view from the rooftop of our villa.

Our first stop this morning was Achaval-Ferrer, a short 15 minute drive.

And then to Bodega Casarena.

And then to lunch at MUN Casarena, a fabulous Asian-Argentinian fusion restaurant and one of Mendoza/Lujan de Cuyo's hot new restaurants.
http://www.chefmun.com/

Today's menu.

Starting with The Mendoza Salad paired with Casarena's 505 Sauvignon Blanc 2012.

And wonderful orange honey-mustard dressing.

Chilean Salmon Nigiri & Yellowtail Tuna on Crispy Rice, paired with
Casarena's Rama Negra Reserva Pinot Noir 2011.

The chef rejected the pork today so no Mun-style Dim Sum Pork Buns, but a very nice substitution, paired with a Rosé.

And, OMG, the most amazing Korean Style Rib-eye and Organic Micro Greens, paired with Casarena's Rama Negra Reserva Malbec 2011.

And to finish today's culinary orgy, a delicious Melon Panna Cotta with Strawberry Coulis & Cocoa Tuiles, paired with Casarena's Rama Negra Extra Brut.

No mas! Time to head home for nap.

And one last dinner at wonderful Cavas Wine Lodge.

Clear skies and more great views tonight.

And a special dessert for our friend's B-Day.

And back to our villa before our 4AM wake-up call. OMG!

Wow, missed you by a day. I just posted a second round. Did you get to Achaval-Ferrer or Casarena?

LOL. Not exactly the most modern airport. And what about the mob scene of people waiting for pax to exit customs.

We did on Jan 2nd:

Alta Vista
Achaval-Ferrer
Melipal

We did a lunch in Melipal and it was excellent. A 5 course tasting with wine pairing.

Thank you so much for the great commentary and choice pictures. I'm flying J tomorrow on AA from LHR to DFW and I just don't think my chicken will compare .

I was in Argentina a few months ago. You're reminding me why I need to go back.

Thanks for the great report (all of your reports are quite impressive)!

Inspiring me to visit, thank you.
Pleased to see that you have been enjoying yourself in BA as opposed to on BA!
