No, it shouldn't. I've had flights delayed several times consecutively and done the lounge to gate back to lounge walk on numerous occasions.

To be safe though, you get a receipt when you check in to the lounge. Save it in case the lounge receptionist doesn't remember that you went in and left.

I finally got my PP card in the mail yesterday as I am the proud cardholder of the Bank of America Accolades Amex Card. I learned about this card awhile back and now I had the time to look over the information. When I saw Priority Pass as a benefit with unlimited access for the cardholder I knew this would be a cool card to have for a FT member.

My Question is out of the airside lounges at SFO which one do you prefer? I was thinking to choose the Continental Lounge with the free alcohol.

Thanks for your help.

I just got my Accolades card today. Did you have to specifically activate Priority Pass, or is it automatic? Thanks for your help

I just joined at the 10-visit level (the FT promo link posted above is still valid ) so I will update with my thoughts soon.

One thing I could not find is information on children - are they admitted and is there a fee? From reviewing FT threads it appears that each participating lounge has its own policies and practices. Though in general it appears that PP member's spouse and children can be admitted to Delta lounges without guest fees.

I've been tempted to join the Priority Pass program and almost done it but ...

It seems that there are plenty of good offers for US and UK residents but the costs for us living elsewhere is so much higher.

I just can't bring myself to paying a lot more than those that pay in USD or GBP. So I guess it will be the airport cafeterias for me whenever I don't have access otherwise!

Nope. you pay for every person you bring in. The lounge admittance policy (kids and spouses) only apply to their club members.. With Priority Pass, you pay for every guest.. I had a priority pass for afew years, but went with a WorldClub membership as I've started traveling with someone more regularly and the admission fees from PP made me either not use it when they were with, or the fees were racking up.

there is also discussion in other credit cards forum, and maybe amex forum. not sure if some of those threads were among those merged into this one.

what happens when you enter lounge?

Do they just run your card nver really see that there is charge going on behind the scenes. Just thinking of business, etc. Don't really want to stand there and have to deal with payment when someone I am traveling with is a club member

thinking of getting this

They just run the card through a carbon imprint thing and write in a few things. Takes less than a minute.

Been considering this for a while... that 20% deal seems pretty good if the 15%+3 mos isn't available.

My only hesitation is the lack of lounges in CDG. Only Term 1, 2A, 2B...

Surprising gap. Does anyone know if they are actively adding to the list? Are there periodic announcements to members, or is it pretty static?

that's not bad. Will the guest or other travelr know there is a charge for you? I guess when traveling with family in particular, I don't want them to feel uncomfortable about me spending to get them in. My family is the type that would not rathe rbe uncomfortable than let me do something for them.

They are actively adding lounges to the list.

Every month I receive some email with new info:
Nov: 10 new lounges
Oct: 7 new lounges
Sep: 5 new lounges
Aug: 16 new lounges
Jul: 23 new lounges

AFAIK no new lounges in France since quite a while, but don't know if this is going to change.
