Question: Has anyone been able to pull PNRs of partially flown trips ? |

This tool just paid for itself!
I booked my brother in law on one of the fly three fly free promotions. There was ticketing problem so I called AA to fix which they did. I rechecked the PNR and yes it was all taken care of except for the remark that AADVMBR or PAX with same surname must pick up ticket. My brother in law (not the same last name) lives near DFW and I live near MKE! So I called back and had them fix it and I verified it with expertflyer. Had I not had access to the pnr - chances are I never would have known until it was too late!! :(
As I said it paid for itself with this one incident. |

It was issued as an eticket - I'm not sure why the remark was in the record the way it was. My point simply was that I was able to catch it and have it changed. There is now an entry that says something to effect of EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION etc. |
On some flights (we sometimes forget - we are supposed to have the credit card we used to purchase the ticket with!) part of ther ways they seem to be controlling the trade, sale, barter of awards and VIPs is by annotating the need to double-check, witness this in a VIP-upgraded trip to EZE:
IMPORTANT--ONLY AADV MBR OR PSGR WITH SAME SURNAME IS AUTHORIZED TO PICK UP BOARDING PASS/S. MUST SHOW PHOTO ID AND ID MUST BE DOCUMENTED BELOW. NAME OF PERSON PRESENTING ID ID TYPE/ISSUING STATE ID NUMBER THE ABOVE DOCUMENTATION IS NECESSARY IN CASE FOLLOW UP IS REQUIRED WITH MBR. Too many VIPs, er, "White Envelopes" sold on eBay??? Folks buying those upgrades and award tickets via "Total Travel Solutions" on eBay? This may be the result. (I am amazed the lAAwyers haven't put the bite on TTS and eBay... TTS even claim to be a California licensed seller of travel, as defined by the Business and Professions Code, Sec. 17550.et seq., but a quick search of the CA Attorney General's site reveals they are not listed.) |
(1) How do you get it to display all the availability (all classes) on international flights at once?
(2) Someone mentioned they can see D1, D2, etc. How? (3) Please have a look at LHR-ORD on January 20. ALL flights have exactly 7 J seats available? Can this be right? All help will be appreciated, thanks. |

If you do a general availability without any specific calss on LHR-ORD 20JAN you will see F A C D I availability. There is a mix of availability in these classes on all flights. You can see all non-aadvantage classes on a general availability query. Can they are be J7 -- yes. means that there is at least 7 business class seats for sale. Check DFW-NRT for the next few days and you will see the differnece of when it goes to J0. If you just want to look at I, C, etc avail, but this is the fare class box. Hope this helps. Cool feature ---
has anyone been using the connect via box in availability? Great for forcing connections and a he** of alot better than hoping that a connection via a certain city pops up on AA.com ^ |

What a fantastic development. This is going to make life so much easier.
Like others, I can't get it to show me BA PNR's - however the detailed access to fares and rules for BA is worth the premium price alone. |
If this could look up the elusive Cathay inventory, I'd be sold on it.
|
Fare info
I do like this tool. On my wishlist would be seeing the stored fares and changes made to the record in the PNR. So I guess we don't get to see everything.
