I just subscribed and am unable to pull up future PNRs for AA or BA, or for BA seatmaps..... if they fix it, I will stay beyond the five days, if not... nope

I just took a look at them again.. it seems that it has been changed (I guess they are reading the thread!) and it no longer states anything about a credit check. Being in the retail business myself, my guess is that what they meant was they wanted to check the validity of your CC, not your personal credit. (CC fraud is a big problem for me too). Besides, no one can check your credit without you SSN... you're not giving that out are you?? :) |

What I mean is that after you give them the inital info, they then bring you to a new screen and say here are the terms, are you sure you want to do this? Then you have the option of canceling or proceding. How is that bad if you can just abort? I'm subscribed to many other sites on the web that have the same basic process. Nothing bad happened to me :D |

I've been able to pull up even reservations on hold, as well as seat maps and info on a number of non-US airlines - SN Brussels, MX, EK, etc. But you can not call up itineraries that are past, any more than you can on, say, AA.com.
Before anyone gets kinda paranoic about this, I had no trouble seeing the T&C, the location, or much of anything else I needed to make my decision to try it out. And after all, if it were fraudulent, you can do a reverse charge on your credit card. Though IMO, if it were, it wouldn't work, merely would promise you and not deliver. Not much different than signing up for other web-based services, and cleaner than more than a few. |
