Cool New Availability Tool
First, let me say that I do not work for this company (Really!)....
I came across a new availbility tool that includes the "hidden classes" for AA frequent flyer tickets, fares, seat availability. I haven't tried other airlines yet.
www.expertflyer.com
It is a paid site --- but is a one month package for $4.99 per month with limited access, or a unlimited for $9.99 for everything.
I can't speak for other airlines, but for AA I can see all classes that I request, (X, Z, C, U, R, etc).
Have played with it and the site is great. Best of all -- it is up 24/7
So at least we have another resource now!

Well, it sounds and looks good..... though I'd be a little more comfortable if your testimonial wasn't quite so "gushing" about how wonderful it is. Perhaps I'm just too cynical these days...
Does it have a (short) free trial period? I guess not....
The 'rate plan information' says "You may terminate service and receive a full refund of the monthly subscription fee within the first 5 days after plan commencement, subject to the conditions in section 17 of the ExpertFlyer.com Terms and Conditions." Where exactly are the Terms and Conditions - I couldn't find them (or 'section 17')?

"Corporate" Rate Plan....
From the website:
So, maybe if a few F/Ters work for/with the same "company".....
Corporate Service
A Corporate Annual Plan is available to companies who sign up 10 or more subscribers at one time. This plan includes all the features and benefits of our Premium Service Plan with an annual subscription for $89.99 per subscriber for a minimum of 10 subscribers.
Corporate Manager Control
Allows a manager at the company to assign and control subscriber names and passwords
Users can be deleted or reassigned to new employees throughout the subscription year
Additional users may be added for $89.99 per subscriber
Subscribe Now Rate Plan Information
Clicking on the "Rate Plan Information" Link opens a .pdf file that's kind of like a T & C's page.

Been there, done that, got the subscription. It's available 24/7 - I don't have to wait for the "window of opportunity" or run software on my machine, it has the information I need, and everything you need to read about it is there - I was able to find the T&C (an Adobe Portable Document FIle) quite easily. Yes, it's like a cellular phone contract - a one year subscription is a one year contract, so that might feel a bit risky, but I imagine the owner / developers of this innovative venture felt a bit risky for a while too... (likely they still do!)
SO-O-O-O much easier than AA or using some of the work-arounds. ^ Mind you, there are bells and whistles I am hoping for as the service develops, but I've used it to book several flights already, and more than saved the money I have paid already, IMO. (I did think the poor AAgent was going to fall off the chair when I gave the information "I see there are x class seats on flight umdiddy umpty..." but in the end, I saved the AAgent considerable time looking and searching.
Editorial: Why would we begrudge someone with a better idea a way to make some money for a fair and reasonable product?
If you have ten or more folks in your company, you can get a discount, but to pay one subscription for the entire FT board or some ad hoc group, that's a great disincentive for invention and development. How would YOU feel if a group of folks did that to YOUR business? [/Editorial]

Hey, I noticed you cross-posted this on the AA forum, too.
I looked at the site and the screenshots, and all I see is AA stuff.
Since you were a beta tester for the site, could you tell us what other (if any) airlines it works with?
Much appreciated. Thanks.
