I know they use Sabre and the reservations in question can be pulled up in VirtuallyThere and on AA.com. It is a multi-airline 7 segment reservation. I have no others to look up right now. I was able to pull up one of my dad's made on AA.com...doesn't do me any good.

Just to make sure I'm not being dense... all I should have to do is input my 6-character record locator as listed on My Reservations on aa.com and last name, correct?

Has anyone gotten itineraries to display solely booked on aa.com with no phone interaction?

Thanks.

I was able to pull up an award ticket I "purchased" on aa.com but never called an agent about.

It doesn't look like you can pull up PNRs from trips that are over, though -- I was looking forward to going through the records for some previous trips to see what the agents had written about me, but they were rejected.

Works good for me. I'm looking at an aa.com booked itin for me and lady astrojets for 1/15, and everything's there. I think it's worth 5 bucks to look at X availability whenever I want to!

Yep - I have a multi-seg with an overnight at DFW I planned and booked on aa.com, never had any telephonic contact with AA about it, it shows. (The comments seem more complete - including EXP upg reqs on all segments, Exit-row qualification for both pax, etc.)

DFWDave, I don't know what to say... I'd e-mail support. 'Cause as you say, it's kind of useless to see your father's PNR, but not yours. (Let us know if when you pull it up, a comment says "This is not your father's PNR!" )

All: I'm seeing "NORMALIZED / TRILLIUM" on my PNRs. Huh? Anyone care to elucidate?

Because it's part of a paid offer when seatguru.com alone can be accessed free of charge. So, either they are part of this venture.. or seatguru has not authorized its use.

I don't have access to the site, but the picture only shows a link to seatguru. They don't have to be authorized to do that...

The amount of info available is stunning-- I'm totally floored. I hope it stays this comprehensive. Unbelievable.

Maybe I missed it (and just out of curiosity) do we know how's behind this? People we know from here? Or is that not common knowledge, etc.?

To those who have subscribed, a question please:

I went through the site and screenshots but didn't see routing tables, as they existed on Expedia, that would allow us to know what routing a given fare would allow.

Does this tool offer this valuable information ?

Thanks.

If / when subscribing... what's FT's 'coupon code' to be eligible to a discount ?

Thanks. I don't know why my itineraries are not showing. Oh well.

After Expedia has terminated showing routing rules someone (I miss his/her name) offered to start a business and commented being involved with Sabre / etc in order to offer the info. At the time it was not clear whether it could be free, for a small amount of money or highly expensive once available. I hope someone will be able to fill in the gap.

Now this site comes up - could not be related... but could also be...

I understand FT does not allow the promotion of a business... but this tool owner could very well offer us a 'coupon code' to allow us a discount when enrolling

Before I get a subscription, is this likely to last and is it legit? Is it being done entirely under SABRE T&C on what fields can be displayed and what cannot be.

Airlines WILL come to know of this site. Will they try to clamp it down, restrict their itineraries being shown unless restricted to what you can see on places like virtually there or are they powerless to do anything?

I am just asking because it seems to good to be legit....

The invitation to test the site came from a FT member.

For obvious reasons I won't reveal who it was. I'm sure if he wants to reveal his identity, he will, and if he doesn't, then I will have to respect his wishes.

I guess my original question is -- why is there a link ? It implies that there is a connection to seatguru.
