7. Ah, it wasn't Air Aruba, the flight did not depart from Newark, the first flight was not operated with a B757-200, the connection was not made at Aruba, and the second flight was not operated with a YS-11.

2. Now it's 1967 and time for yet another milk run flight! This time you are in Florida and are on your way from Pensacola to Key West with your flight making four stops along the way. Name the air carrier, all four stops in order and the aircraft. It was National operating an L-188 Electra. Stops were not made at JAX, MLB or PBI. So the routing we are looking for was PNS - ___ - ___ - ___ - MIA - EYW.

Okay then, let's try PNS-TPA-MCO-FLL-MIA-EYW with the Electra.
2. Well, you are getting a whole lot closer....

However, although this flight did indeed stop at both Tampa and Orlando, TPA wasn't the first stop and MCO wasn't the second stop. Plus the flight in question did not stop in Fort Lauderdale.

Time for another swing of the old bat!

14. Nope, it wasn't UTA, the nonstop flight in question did not depart from Bangui and although the equipment was a B747, it wasn't a combi aircraft.

7- well, time to go back to my original thought: JFK-SJU-BON, AA, A300 and ATR-72

7. Nope, it wasn't American via San Juan and the aircraft types we are looking for are not an Airbus A300 or an ATR 72.

However, the first flight did depart from New York JFK.

7- this is rather an obvious guess, but what the heck: ALM via Curacao/CUR, MD-80 and DC-9-30

In an act of desperation let me try with MK on B747SP, triangle route: MRU-TNR-JRO-NBO-TNR-MRU?

YVR Cockroach mentioned 1996 was when the demolition of apartheid started, so maybe Tanzania was then open for South Africans and MK wanted to capitalize on this? Plus even during apartheid Mauritius had rather cozy relations with SA.

7. Well, it's an excellent guess. Unfortunately, it's incorrect on all counts.

14. Ah, it wasn't Air Mauritius nonstop from Antananarivo and the 747 equipment wasn't an SP model.

So here's a hint.....

The second flight was operated with a turboprop.

How about one of the French Caribbean airlines, Air Martinique?

Last try: SV from JED on B747-100.

14. Thinking that the oblique hint up-thread may point to the nationality, I'll guess Corsair from Paris-Orly ?

7- that hint says the connection point was most likely Caracas/CCS, which in turn says the airline was either Viasa or Avensa ... based on KT550’s recent question set, I’ll guess Avensa with a DC-10 connecting to a Convair 580
