KVS - this functionality (searching for awards) would be SUPER useful. Bravo ! ^

KVS,please do it.

i would use it all the time
Please do, the UA data would be extremely useful.
Thanks for all your hard work. |
This is already possible using the beta of the new ual.com at http://www.united.com/page/article/1,,51885,00.html
Basically, you seach for standard awards in expert mode, which will bring up essentially all flights (they have to be Y0 etc. to have no standard awards), then mouse over flight details and it will show NC etc. as exactly that (no need to remember I=NC, O=XC). There's a long thread on other new functionalities and disfunctionalities of the ual.com beta at http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=614647 |

This would be a huge boost. Is it that one saver economy seat must be available, though, or just any saver seat? Often IME, a flight will come up with Business upgrade availability, even though there may be no economy saver awards available, but there is a saver business or saver first award available. Can't wait for the new version; did I miss the timeframe?

Thanks for all your hard work. I have added a [Cabin Class] selection for the new [Apollo: Awards/UA] method. Therefore, at least 1 saver award seat must be available in the selected cabin class, for the flight to show-up. |

I LOVE the new UA Award Method.
Is there ANY way to search for awards between cities over a range of dates? I would like to search for instance for (2) First Class award seats between SFO and HNL between June and Oct. They are hard to come by and doing it day by day is cumbersome. Thanks again! Lee |

International Flight
It seems to me that new feature of Awards/UA is not working for International awards.
For example, I checked availability of saver award from Tokyo to Seoul on October 23 in United.com, and there are available seats in economy class. So, I went to check same one in using KVS availablity tool, but it did not work and showed me that CRS Error: There are no flights that you meet your request. If I use KVS Availability tool for domestic flights in USA, it worked well. |
Are Worldspan seat maps down? I keep seeing:
Code:
Seat Map Data Error |
