Most of my tools do the same stuff.

We would respectfully suggest that whatever those tools do (or do not do) would be more appropriately discussed in their own Thread(s).

We are paying KVS for a tool he has made (hence the name KVS Tool!), not for being a source of data.
He is pointing us to sources of data which are available for his tool.
And it is up to us if we use them or not.

You're essentially paying for the "tool" to browse for you to other websites and push the data in a different format.

More precisely, the KVS Tool is a specialized web browser.

As is the case with other web browsers, it can be used to view information from various websites on the World Wide Web.

However, over time, some websites (or certain parts thereof) may cease to exist.

It would be impossible for anyone to guarantee that a particular website will continue to exist forever.

However, as a courtesy to our Members, we are able to suggest an alternative website, which has comparable functionality and is compatible with the KVS Tool.

Perhaps it's time someone sends some emails to FAU, marathon travel, and Sabre, to see what the real deal is, because obviously KVS wants to keep it all a big secret.

Yes, I'm sure that would be really helpful!

Now that GTC is the only availability method, how does one get GTC credentials?

You need to either (1) know the secret handshake; (2) read this thread; or (3) use Google.

:D

Being an alumni of FAU might help too.

I thought you needed to know how to twerk also? ;)

For housekeeping purposes, another thread on the same issue was merged into the master. Some posts from this morning might seem slightly out of context, due to time stamps.

On this GTC thing, all I can say is "wow."

I don't think I've ever seen something less consumer-friendly, and I haven't even cracked the nut yet.

I pay for this?

For years, I've longed for a better way to get this data. I'd paid 3x, maybe 4x for a modern, web-based version of this ancient app that requires bizarre registration, a PC, and constant updates.

I use EF instead of this whenever possible.

I think I'm done on renewing this.

Thanks for confirming.

Indeed and we're glad you are continuing to enjoy the KVS Tool.

It was absolutely frustrating to get this GTC rubbish. Spent an hour trying to sign up at several sites and none worked at KVS because there was not "sitecode". So what is this "sitecode"? Why can't clear instruction, a link or something to get this GTC thing?

I think ExpertFlyer is the way to go in the future.

I don't use KVS, but even I could follow the instructions on the last page or two. According to the PDF, the sitecode is floridaatlantic and the password key is flatlantic.
