If you drag-and-drop an individual segment into another application, the date will be included with each flight.

USing SNT: Awards/StarAlliance method
I am trying to find an award OW from HKG->SFO on UA partners.
I tried to use SNT: Awards/StarAlliance but it does not show me all the flights., it shows just 2 that are not available for the award. But iN fact I know that there is Air Canada flight available but is not showing up. I can get it when I specify Air Canada explictily. Also when I do UA explictly it shows me alll UA flights. I tried the "ITA: Awards/AC-StarAlliance" but is says the method not available. I am a platinum member. What should I use ? |

Have you clicked the "Connections" check box when using SNT: Awards/StarAlliance? Without that you won't get any connecting flights (AC doesn't fly from HKG to SFO, so I'm guessing you are connecting thru YVR)
I did not notice that option. I checked it and more flights showed up but still Air Canada did not show up. I used POS "JP-ANA-STD", Method "SNT Award/StarAlliance" and checked Connections checkbox. Any other suggestions ? |

Any other suggestions ? 1) Use the "Via" option (next to POS) to force a connection thru a certain airport (like YVR) 2) Search individual legs with non-stop flights instead of relying on the connections that the tool (NH's engine in this case) will show. For example, don't look for HKG-SFO unless you are specifically looking for the SQ or UA direct flights. If you are looking for the AC flight, put in HKG-YVR. |

http://www.kvstool.com/Screenshots.p...ACStarAlliance What version are you running? 6.9.9 is the latest. There was a problem that got recently resolved in the AC method (fix is in 6.9.9) |
Are flights to BKK from LHR all full or are airlines trying to rip people off this year?

"CA-AC". When I select Awards/AC-Star Alliance, the POS is "CA" |
In my experience POS should be irrelevant to award space.

A quick question from a noob using KVS please....
I have several flights coming up and I have had an internal space available upgrade request put forward from the airline for all my legs. The flights in question are as follows: [KVS Availability Tool 6.9.9.R2/Platinum - Sabre: Availability/FS/US] Code:
ADL Adelaide SA AU [YPAD][KVS Availability Tool 6.9.9.R2/Platinum - Sabre: Availability/FS/US] Code:
SIN Singapore Changi SG [WSSS]Code:
LHR London Heathrow UK [EGLL]Many thanks |

One more thing. Looking at the screen example, I see POS is
"CA-AC". When I select Awards/AC-Star Alliance, the POS is "CA" |
Found a problem with the 7 day search, but it could be an error in the underlying engine. When the aircraft type changes for a route, all results for that flight seem to list the aircraft type that was first found.
For instance, on August 1, FRA-IAH LH440 changes from a 744 to a 380. Doing a +/-3 days search on 8/3 shows 744 for all instances of LH440. Doing the same search on 8/4 shows A380 on all instances of LH440. [KVS Availability Tool 6.9.9904/Diamond - SNT: Awards/StarAlliance-7D] Code:
FRA Frankfurt Metro / Intl DE = FRA HHN [EDDF]Code:
FRA Frankfurt Metro / Intl DE = FRA HHN [EDDF] |
