Help
Ran an award search using JL for a HKG-JFK flight in F.
Results show HGK-JFK, flight 888, two F seats open, with one stop (YVR). Then, flight 888, YVR-JFK below shows zero F seat open? What does this mean? Why wouldn't the F seats be open on the connecting flight? |

Sounds like another classic case of married segments. There is availability on the HKG-JFK route, but they don't want to offer awards YVR-JFK. You might also see the same if you search HKG-YVR separately.
CX 888 HKG-JFK (1 Stop), CX 888 HKG-YVR (Non-Stop) and CX 888 YVR-JFK (Non-Stop) are actually 3 different flights and each has its own Availability. |

Would like to see more flexibility of POS for Fare searches. I'm sure other parts of the world are like this as well, but I tend to want to look at fares that are very specific to POS ex- certain Asian countries. Now it seems to be limited only to US, EU, RU, AU, UK which doesn't let me see many ex-China ex-HKG ex-Korea ex-Japan fares.

 Just when I thought I had things figured out. Are the HKG-YVR and YVR-JFK and HKG-JFK all the exact same plane?
In either case, Availability is managed on a per-flight and not a per-aircraft basis. |

The most likely reason why you are not seeing certain Fares ex-CN/HK/KR/JP Fares is because they are Private/Unpublished. |
I just got the Platinum for 2 months to try... and I have already failed...
I was trying to piece together an open-jaw itinerary. Is there a way to do that and see fare availability and put together something and see the price? |

I just installed the new version and after restarting the system all Login Data is gone (Membership Key, Airline Logins, Flighstats, etc).
Any way to recover this? |

Did you install the update into a different location? If so, simply re-install into the original folder. Otherwise, do a search for KVS_AvailabilityTool.ini on your local machine and make sure it is placed correctly. |

Simply installing a new version could not have caused any loss of locally-saved credentials.

Tried to sign up for the 2 month diamond, just to see how much I actually will use the software.
Unfortunately I live in Dubai and when I click the "continue" button to sign up the page that loads is in Arabic.... I assume that it's looking at my IP source. Might be worth you getting the payment people to change that KVS since many people live in countries where they don't speak the language! |

The only English on the page is: Please note that the postal address below must match the card billing address on file with the issuing financial institution. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The use of free e-mail accounts (e.g. Hotmail/GMail/Yahoo/AOL) is not recommended, due to non-delivery issues -- if possible, please specify a different address (e.g. ISP-provided, business, etc.) |
