Assumption:
Expertflyer goes the way of KVS tool. With tech & IT making progress everyday, it'll get difficult to datamine & datascrap, Not to forget the mention of increased accuracy of security, sourcing & tracking which negates the UX Speculation: All major travelbloggers conglomo of boarding area OMAAT LALF VWTW GSTP will soon anounce that "their" point.me wil have acquired exclusive features which mimic expertflyer, as they enjoy good relation as consorts of the major airlines Realisation: Red Ventures owns expertflyer, it is not truely the most transparant of companies as its tentacles are all over finance it might have gotten a cease and desist letter of warning, fearing controversy looming over its other legal "services & "products", inspired by the continued shennigans over at KVS Tool, Red Ventures plays stupid to the outside world so Expertlyer silently disappears from the stage. Salvation: The fates indicate that the future of Expert flyer & KVS tool is hanging on a thread. Where is the streetwise Hercules that can fight these rising wars of doubt? Or is there another fool in a shape of all of us that lament the loss of innocence and begins to wish by hoping that smart IT Tech savy from India & China might soon discover and create similair utilities. Just saying as the devil's advocate that some party on deep / dark web might come with a substitute program ...... if they can hack into the topsecret mainframe, GDS tapping should be possible. |

[...] Red Ventures [...] might have gotten a cease and desist letter of warning As for tech progress, it can cut both ways. Assuming for a moment that unauthorised data access is an issue, both defenders and potential hackers can use new methods. |

My possibly naive assumption has always been that EF's data sources were legitimate and involved commercial agreements (and in some cases associated payments).
…..Or something technical, like provider api authorization mechanisms, or call/return formats, were modified, and are now not being handled properly.. DISCLAIMER: Pure speculation here |

Anyone find a way to contact somebody at that RedVentures place?
Seems that nobody is at EF any more with zero response or anything from their 'help desk'. Previously when there was an issue, it would at least get acknowledged quickly. Radio silence is unacceptable. |

Interesting (and sad) there is a trend of large firms acquiring travel businesses (SeatGuru, Loungebuddy and now EF) and mothballing them within a relatively short period of time.
Wonder what's behind this trend... you'd think at the very least these businesses would want to see some return on their investment |
My renewal just happened two days ago. I stopped auto renewal today, albeit too late. They get until tomorrow to fix this or at least issue a communication about the problem. No response and I'm going to initiate a chargeback.

I still have 6 months left, but at this point will not be renewing either.
