When I do award search, what should I select for Airline? I have aa points and would like to search for all possibilities, EY, QF, CX or any other combination, how do I search?

E/F is airline by airline for such. You can set up separate alerts for various available airlines but that can be cumbersome.

If you want multi airline functionality, you might need to consider something like awardnexus.

Seat alerts are for specific seats on the seat map.

It sounds like you want a fare availability alert for I1.

Either way, https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trav...sk-thread.html is a much more appropriate place to ask this.

Correct, that's what Flight Alerts, part of the Premium Service, do: https://www.expertflyer.com/frequent...labilityAlerts

Can I search fare for open jaw ?

Search did not turn up anything. I am sure this question had been asked.
How can I search open jaw fares? Thanks.

There aren't any open-jaw fares are such.

Open-jaw fares are typically constructed using round-trip fares. If you're flying AAA-BBB on 1 November and then CCC-AAA on 8 November, you add these fares together and divide by two:-
  • [*]
Note the directionality of the fares; the second one is not a CCC-AAA-CCC fare.
.
You can also get open-jaw fares constructed by adding one-way fares together, but IME this is a less common way because combining round-trip fares on a half-round-trip basis is more likely to result in a lower fare.

Thank you for the tip!
Will try that out.

Setting Alert for Cancelled Flight

Thank you.

ExpertFlyer does not currently provide a flight status alert, for that we recommend FlightStats.

I'm using EK/JL/QF/EF sites to search for EK availability.
For some reason EF and QF are showing F availability but EK site does not show any. I"m just checking one segment, apples to apples comparison. It has been showing a false neg for over 24 hrs. Why does EF show something that's not available?

As you noted it's not just EF that is showing the inventory. That is what we are seeing that Emirates is publishing, sometimes they may have issues in publishing data through all channels. If you need further help please email us directly with examples.
