crazy to think they can justify a 400% increase in cost

I think it’s a 66% increase for most, but they’re also eliminating the 67% discount for early adopters.

$30–>$50 may also be hard to justify but probably a closer question for someone who viewed the service as worth $30.

When I click on the Cancel button in the email it takes me to a page offering me 1-5 years at $30 per year.

I think I'll go with one more year at $30 to see how the service improves.

Nice find. Shame I deleted the email.

Thanks.

Guess you don't know the equivalent on Google sheets?

Yes, can confirm it works exactly the same on Google Sheets too, I just tested it.

If it has been under 30 days, you can probably find it in your "Trash" or "Deleted" folder.

Bingo. Found. Thank you.

How many of us are still on the 10$ plan?

Am I the only one that is concerned that with the last price increase from 10-30$ that they had sent out an offer that stated, and I quote:

"The good news is that we are grandfathering anyone who has ever paid for Award Wallet P|us before February 1, 2017, as long as you maintain an AwardWallet Plus subscription going forward."

"How To Keep AwardWallet Plus at $10/year To keep AwardWallet Plus for $10/year, activate a subscription on the payment page within your AwardWallet profile,"

I asked them about this and they never said that the price would be good forever. My understanding of grandfathered as long as you maintain a plus subscription means just that.

Anyone else pushing back? I question the value at $50 a year as well.

My subscription renews in February, so I'm holding off until then to cancel, just in-case they go back on their plans and decide to keep to their word.

I'm hoping there's such an avalanche of cancellations that it forces them to re-think their plans.

I would agree.

If you cancel the offer goes away.

But I don't believe that they can pull out unless the product ceases to exist.

Calling it AwardWallet 2.0 might be enough but they are not doing that.

I'm not as concerned with my miles and points accumulation as I am with keeping track of future trips. It's really the only thing I found Award Wallet useful for. Any suggestions for an alternative app for that?

I love TripIt. Used it for years. Great way to track my husband's biz trips as well as our personal travel.

I second this. The free version of Tripit has been great for me. I've got 10 or 15 years of my past travel data in there. They apparently offer points tracking if you pay, but I never have so I can't vouch for it.

I think you have a decent argument on the language that they committed to $10 forever, but I think the reality of it is it's (a) sloppy language that (b) no one is going to sue over given the value.

I am as well... I emailed them pushing back. Very dishonest of them

Not a question of suing, but more the trust in the organization. I don't find it that sloppy and relatively clear. You can still find that offer on their own website too. If you can't own your mistakes (if that's what it is), you might not warrant my business.
