Agreed that the lion version is much better- however for a $5 application running on a tablet iPhoto is quite impressive. I much prefer the new Photoshop PS for the Ipad when it comes to quick photo edits.

Anyone have experience with the app Frugal Flyer?

caGALINDO Mar 16, 2012 9:24 am

I ditched iphoto for flickr and im never going back. the new camera+ app for iphone fixed the bulk upload to flickr so you can upload 10+ photos at a time.

Waze navigation
Flashlight - that exact name
pano - panoramic photos
elements - notes that sync over dropbox
new version of mymaps - download maps for offline view
flightboard
gym1rm - for people that workout
heart rate monitor axumio - works really accurately
the night sky - tell whats above you

kayak pro is pretty neat

Has anyone tried that 'Sleep Cycle alarm clock'? Is it any good, does it actually do what it says and, more importantly, does this really make a difference?

Oooo, you've got me curious. My sleep cycles are all screwed up, and I could use something like that.

Someone, please do post!

TMsoft has a white noise app in the App store. You can set it to beach waves, thunder, etc. There is a free version and a Pro option.

It's received so many positive reviews that they couldn't have been all rigged. Nevertheless, it would be good to hear from FT'ers who have given it a go.

I don't currently use my phone as an alarm clock as I have a "natural" one in my bedroom at the moment, but I'd love to give the app a try as soon as I get the chance.

Not exactly but I can add this bit of information. I started to use a site to predict sleep cycles a few months ago. The site is:

http://sleepyti.me/

It is a free site. It will either predict when you should go to bed to wake up at a given time or when you should wake up based on when you are going to bed. I have found doing this REALLY helps me with waking up feeling good in the morning. This app seems even more precise, since the web site is all on averages. I think I will give the app a try and see if it helps even more. You might try the web site and see if that helps also.

Anybody tried "Karma". I heard about it on TV tonight, and it sounds interesting. Notifies you about friend's birthdays, provides cards options and gift options. Also, lets you know when one of your friends is receiving lots of cards.

Aren't there about 20 apps just like Bria? I haven't tried any yet, but I might be interested. What makes Bria special? Any better ones out there?
