Great mobile translation app!

If you are an avid gamer like I am and find communication to be a problem when your fellow gamers speak a language other than English, you should check out Transfire. It allows you to use your iPhone to chat with players in more than 50 languages with real-time translations. It's easy to use and you can quickly upload your contacts. You can also store frequently-used phrases, which makes communicating even easier. I think its website is http://www.transfireapp.com for anyone interested in finding out more about it.

When they added "Battleship" to the iPad, I no longer feel guilty spending the money for an iPad which I realy did not need. Up to Admiral and on my way to global seas domination. ^

Cheers

Ive been so amused with Battleship I have not played Infinity Blade recently. At some point I am going to have to get back at it and try to kill that pesky Level 250 God King. ;)

For me Converter Plus is a must have. It converts anything to anything.

OK, I broke down and got an iPad (when my company offered to pay for it). I've downloaded about 100 apps but must admit that I'm through about 90 Angry Bird scenes in less than a week.

Great app. Very handy on my trip last week to Denmark and Sweden for currency conversions.

If you are heading to Singapore, the best location/direction/map app is gothere.sg.
More accurate than google map, it gives you the alternative modes of transport to a certain location, and price details.

I have recently used Instant translation & search app for iPhone called Worldictionary. It's really good at recognize and translate the words. Have a look at it, it's handful to travelers like us.

Pandora is quite possibly one of the best applications I have. AIM is great for waiting in airports.

I agree,, having a personalized radio is great!

Flight tracking app for iPhone

This is a fantastic thread - I have read through about 20 of the 67 pages but time is running out. My daughter is taking Philippine Air to Manila this Saturday. I would love a free or cheap app to track the flight. I won't be using the app a lot so something simple for international airlines would be great.

I have iPhone4 - LOVE IT! Enjoy Words With Friends, Evernote, Facebook, Pandora

Thanks for the help.
