Speedlist is da bomb! Does exactly what I want. I'd also looked at List Master , which would also do the trick, but it had more bells and whistles than I needed (albeit cool ones) and was twice the price.

Thanks!

Cheers.

I checked out Speedlist on iTunes and the accompanying website. It should work for me too except that I believe all the inputting occurs on the iDevice, which can get tedious with a long list.

Is there a similar list app that let's you input entries on and sync with a web page a la Evernote or Reqall? I had been using Reqall as my list app even though that's not its intended use. Unfortunately, it's been broken since iOS 4 and appears to be an orphan app.

It isn't bad thiough because you really only input once. Afther that you can copy all or part of an existing list into a new one. It works great.

My TSA

“My TSA” gives you 24/7 access to information that passengers frequently request from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

“My TSA” provides a tool to find out if an item is allowed in your carry-on or checked baggage, information on ID requirements and liquids rules, tips for packing and dressing to speed through security, and real-time operating status for U.S. airports from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

I assume that is an appropriate thread also to ask if anyone has found an app to do something specific.

There are about a gazillion checklist apps, but I haven't found one that seems to do what I want, and that's a multi-level checklist.

Imagine, if you will, a packing list. That's the top level.

Under that are categories like
General
Toiletries
International
etc.

Under that are "checkable" items like:
Underwear
socks
shirts
passport
etc.

I haven't seen anything that will let me make the top level "Packing List" then have headings under that, and check items under that.

Also, it should allow everything to be "reset and cleared" for future use...not a task to todo list that is dated and completed.

Has anyone come across something like this? TIA.

Cheers.

I have uPackingListFree and it has categories like Preparations, Accessories, Health, Hats, Gadgets, etc.

Pretty sure you can rename the categories as well as edit the items in the categories. You can add and remove categories too.

Then you can save whole packing lists.

The newest update to Kayak for the iPad has a cool "Explore" feature that works pretty much like Dream Maps but from any airport in the world.

A bit bare bones but I use a Google Docs spreadsheet that I can read with the spreadsheet program in iWorks.

If you mean auto mileage and not airline mileage....and I presume you do as you used MPG in the same breath....both Gas Cubby and Trip Cubby are recommended.

I suggest the $4.99 version of either App unless advertisements don't bother you.

I have Gas Cubby and it allows you to track and chart MPG over time as well as record auto repairs, maintenance, etc.

Trip Cubby lets you track mileage and that comes in handy for those who get it reimbursed or write it off on their taxes.

I can't speak to the apps Cholula recommended, since I haven't tried them, but I use the free AccuFuel and, while basic and limited to fuel (no auto repairs, maintenance intervals, etc.), gets the MPG-measurement job done.

Logging auto maintenance is a great idea.

They should let you upload the data to a web site where it could be printed.

Maybe use the camera to scan in repair bills too.

Guess you could use Evernote for this too.

With the $4.99 version of Gas Cubby you can sync your data with their website. The freebie version of the App doesn't have this capability.

GateGuru sounds like a great idea but when it adds international airports, it would be a good idea to store the data locally, like some metro apps. do, so that you can use it without turning on international data roaming.

World Flights for iPhone, fully featured, low price flight tracking

I travel around the World at least once month from Wellington, New Zealand and am constantly prone to delayed or cancelled flights and my business contacts and family are constantly trying to understand when I am landing so that they can reach me.

I have therefore created an iPhone application that gives live departures and arrivals information for any flights at any given airport around the World. You can find an overview of the application at http://www.3dot5.net/blog/world-flights/ .

There is also a draw to win an ipad everytime a milestone of 10,000 download is reached on the AppStore, more information can be found on: http://www.3dot5.net/blog/win-an-ipa...world-flights/

What’s new in Version 1.1:

Refined user interface;
Search by Route;
Favourite Airports and Routes;
iOS 4 Ready.
